I do feel like it's summed up pretty well by him full-on introducing himself and Sougo not remembering who he is.

Just checked out some spoilers:

GOD DAMMIT TSUKIYOMI!!!

I swear. It's ironic that the character who most supported him has caused the greatest amount of damage.

[up] Female leading characters have recently been doing that as of late. Misora's the reason Evolt became the final boss, Poppy ended up bringing back Kuroto Dan, Kiriko kept mum on her father being a douche, Mai gave Sagara a cheat sheet on who he should pay attention to, and Koyomi essentially kicked off the show. The only lead who hasn't done something game changing is Akari, though Kanon picks up the slack by having Takeru undo her death and thus prolong his tenure as Ghost.

Most of those are a bit of a stretch. via manipulation, basically everyone contributed to Evolt's plan, saving Dan ended up OK in the end (even after he went back to evil it's implied they got the Buster cure out of it) and Koyomi and Kanon just needed saving. Tsukuyomi actually has malice towards the main protagonist, at least at this junction

Honestly the lynchpin to Evolt was Sento himself. He was already planning to doublecross him, it would've taken him literally zero effort to sabotage Evol Driver while making it look like it was fixed, just in case he'd somehow actually get his hands on the device. Just fricking take some internal components out and there, done.

And the winners of the Ridewatch poll are in. Faiz Accel, Chalice, Eternal, Cronus and Poppy. These 5 will get a DX release as a Premium Bandai set.

Zi-O 26:

So typical 'the speed sub is bad, wait for a better one' disclaimer. Like, it somehow says a different wrong thing every time "Zi-O" comes up.

Hilariously Tsukuyomi parks her Time Mazine in a normal parking space?

Yeah, that's... bad. What the fuck even is Tsukuyomi's character at this point

Geiz Revive is pretty cool but I would have liked more colour on the legs. White Woz doing his speech was a neat touch.

Now, I've seen the raw myself, so I admit there's still some wiggle room:

We see her pointing her gun, hear her saying Sougo's name, and then firing. We don't see who she's firing at though, and there's the possibility she's yelling out Sougo's name to save him from someone else. It's still pretty ambiguous. Plus with Tsukasa ONORE DIKEIDO!!!! there, it's clear there's still a lot going on we don't understand.

I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt, as they wouldn't be obscuring so much if there wasn't a twist.

Zi-O 26:

So Hiryuu = Oma Zi-O or at least some version of him seems like what they're going for. Also his TRAGIC BACKSTORY would be a lot more effective again with more buildup, like the potential is there but it's so so rushed

It was cute to see the first time Junichiro and Sougo bonded.

Way too many gaps in the bus incident to comment on it, but now praying that Tsukasa was incapacitated by the bus crash because it would be highly amusing.

Swartz having another agenda is so flagrantly obvious at this point that it seems odd that Hora doesn't actually question anything going on at this point.

I actually do think Geiz Revive is the only upgraded form that actually looks good and executed what they were going for well, so kudos to whoever came up with it.

The Time Jackers are barely a team; it would be entirely possible for one to succeed without the others, and it looks like Swartz might prefer that.

[up][up] Idk, I like Zi-O II's armor as well. But yeah, Geiz Revive looks much better than I thought, now that I can have a better look at it. And Tsukuyomi got so caught up in the multiple realities that she forgot to analyze the possibility of ensuring a Stable Time Loop doing that - even though Tsukasa (and Schwartz) seemingly have had their hand as well.

In any case, I'm not entirely sure of what's happening right now, and I kinda like that.

... And that's called jazz!

Finally saw the sub.

So let me get this straight: Tsukiyomi goes nuts, tries to murder a child even though she's part of the reason he's still able to become Oma Zi-O (well, that's more on Geiz, but still), gets herself and a number of other people, including Hiryu's parents killed....and that's somehow Sougo's fault?

Bullshit. I'm really hoping it will turn out this isn't what it seems, because to be quite frank, Hiryu should be going after her instead...then again he never meets her so. Again, there's such a large amount of wiggle room that I'd be surprised if she really was trying to kill him, though it wouldn't be the first time a female character was wasted either.

So I'm watching Movie War Core and I know the format was 'two seperate stories then they team up at the end' but this is ridiculous. The crossover is, like, 20% max. And Core is really the epitome of the 'random CGI giant boss'.

Yeah. Core doesn't make a lick of sense. Especially since it's barely canon to OOO's (a lot of things that aren't in the series until later or at all pop up in the movie) while the Skull chapter is.

The best parts are Eiji rider kicking himself into another country and basically everything with Skull.

Anyway, just caught episode 27. Man, Hiryu clearly remembers very little about what happened, but I guess getting nearly shot in the head buggered his memories. I wonder how he'll react when he finally realizes it was Swarz who basically killed his family?

Not many I'd say.

I mean, he clearly doesn't care who he hurts as long as he kills Sougo. Hell, he just wants Sougo dead, and so does Geiz, so they technically don't need to be fighting each other.

Anyway, Tsukiyomi needs to get back and fix the mess she's caused.

But, how much time does he have left before he is so far gone that he'll keep attacking Sougo even after he finds out he has no reason to. Another Watches aren't good for the mind, after all.

Zi-O 27: Probably one of the better episodes overall

Liking Geiz Revive even more with this drawback of it slowly killing him over time to determine how much effort Geiz actually has to put into killing Sougo, reflection of his fortitude, etc.

Finally a good heart-to-heart bit between Sougo and Junichiro that isn't used for comedy or brings up Sougo's dream.

More time-travel fuckery with Swartz first knowing Tsukuyomi from the bus incident when she went there as a result of the events of the show even though she (presumably) knew him prior to any of this going down, didn't expect it to be for these two characters but okay. also the real mystery is why Swartz now wears that hot mess of an outfit

Black Woz is still great, can't wait to see how his scheme turns out in the next episode.

Watching OOO 27 and 28 (1000th episode celebrations). Interesting but there's a good amount of stuff I only got because I watched original Rider so this one may have been confusing for kids. Also so much fourth wall breaking and... a Susan Boyle reference? Can't imagine a lot of people got that one.

Watched OOO, Den-O, All Riders - Let's Go Kamen Riders. Technically breaking my 'wait until I've watched both series' crossover rule but hey, I've seen enough of OOO and all of original, even if I've seen no Den-O

I kind of feel like this does the better job of 'all Kamen Riders' better than Kamen Rider Taisen. Granted, it still only gives a handfull of them something to do and no Fujioka Hiroshi but I feel like has the best hit on the whole 'Riders are a force of Justice' bit. It also has some definite plot similarities with an alternate Shocker wins timeline. The scene where every main Rider at that point appears in turn, with the Showas all getting a bit of cheering was nice fanservice but went on so long... Also surprise!, double Riders, then surprise! Showa Riders, then surprise! Heisei Riders, then surprise! Ishinomori heroes then surprise! the remaining Riders. It's all a bit much

I enjoyed it but it was kind of absurd. I'm not entirely sure if the timeline made sense or not, and as with many crossovers there's a lot of stuff you have to have seen to get certain referrences (wasn't expecting them to use the Kamen Rider Scouts again)

He's barely in it but this does remind me of my weirdly specific desire for them to lean really hard into the obscure showa referrences and finally give Shin a proper Rider form. SIC saga gave his son a form that is... well this

I like that they do a massive Rider Break. I get that kicks are the iconic finisher, but a bit of variety doesn't hurt.
