Name: Hazer
Species: Haunter
Gender: Male
Backstory: Not much is known besides that fact he's from the Bellsprout tower where he spent many a night terrorizing he bright young sages. From then he's been spending his time roaming, speaking almost in riddle to mess with others.
Personality:A cheery traveling soul that takes solace in the darkness that lurks in the hearts of all, Hazer is a grinning fool with a relaxed countenance that hides a sinister purpose. In a moment he could be courting you and in the next pulling off a fearsome visage, but the purpose of this facade is known only to him.
Strengths and weaknesses: An excellent planner and always seems to know what's going on, however he is rarely proactive and sometimes waits too long, to his own detriment.
Other facts: Has a soft spot for Eeevelutions and apples.

The Blog The ArtWe don't have a fixed level as such, as I figured that with all those levels, and the fact that we would constantly increase in levels, that we shouldn't bother to try and keep track of them all.
But for a loose guideline, I would suggest somewhere between Level 5 (for players playing The Chick / The Heart characters or babies) and Level 30.

- Name: Karp
- Species: Gold Magikarp
- Level: 18
- Gender: Female
- Backstory: Karp grew up always getting beaten up by other pokemon, but she would somehow win battles here and there (mostly with the help of other pokemon). One day, all the other pokemon felt she was being too uppity, and ganged up on her, and, that day, as she was beat on by the other pokemon, she vowed that one day she would show them, for she had heard stories of Magikarp who had gained great power, and became the most feared pokemon in their territory. Then SHE would be the one laughing!!!
- Personality: Karp is cold and analytical, using her brain to get out of many sticky situations. She is cold, and shows little to no emotion. However, she loves violence, and hopes for the day when she evolves, and shows the other pokemon true power! For now, she can't help but assert her mental superiority over the other pokemon at every chance, pissing them off, massively.
- Moves known: Splash, Tackle
- Strengths and weaknesses: Her only strength is her intellect, everything else is her weakness.
- Other facts: I'm going to have so much fun playing Karp...
- Name: Xanos
- Species: Arbok
- Level: 23
- Gender: Male
- Backstory: Xanos was on Team Rocket's payroll since he was an Ekans, and enjoyed every minute of it until one fateful day when he and his Master recieved a humiliating defeat at the hands of some plucky kid and his hippie, peace-loving pokemon. Believeing that Xanos wasn't strong enough, his Master abandoned him on the side of a well-traveled path. Some bleeding heart Officer Jenny found him a few days later and accidentally relased him. Awesome. Now that Xanos is a free agent, he's going to do what he can to make Team Rocket, and his Master, know who's "strong enough." Heh.
- Personality: Xanos is a snarky jerk who enjoys beating up on weaker pokemon. He is considered as something akin to a bully. But if you earn his respect, he'll "have your back."
- Moves known: Wrap, Bite, Glare, Acid
- Strengths and weaknesses: He never backs down from a challenge, even those that are merely implied. This could be seen as a strength and a weakness. As another weakness, in a battle, he'll sometimes let his confidence get the best of him and rather than finish a battle while his opponent is weak, he'll draw it out and lose his concentration.
- Other facts: His left fang is chipped (from said humiliating battle). He has a fondness for music (violins and cellos are his favorite instruments to listen to) and will oftentimes sway back and forth while listening to it.
If he seems too abrasive, I can tone down his personality.

Name: Darwin
Species: Pikachu
Gender: Male
Backstory: Darwin's history isn't all that interesting, really, but I guess you might find that a Pokemon has a history interesting in of itself. Well, you see, Darwin USED to be a trainer's Pokemon...but the trainer was what you could call, in simple terms, a jerk, treating Darwin and the other Pokemon he had like trash, forcing them into battle even though they had just barely won the last one. Needless to say, the last time the trainer let him out to 'train' him, Darwin turned right around and zapped the trainer unconscious. Since then, he's pretty much been wandering...looking for some sort of reason to stick around.
Personality: Darwin is quite cynical, taking anything anyone says with a giant grain of salt, and keeping himself wary of others until he is absolutely, positively sure that he can trust the Pokemon that's in front of him. It also takes quite a lot for him to trust someone — it usually involves said someone saving his life or something like that, and even then he'll still narrow his eyes at you if you say something even remotely suspicious to him. Strengths and weaknesses: Darwin's strength is in his speed. He is very quick, being able to dash around most enemies with lighting (forgive the pun) speed, sneaking in an attack here and there. It's something that's gotten him through life thus far, and he isn't about to change his style. His weakness, however, is in his endurance: if this were the video game (which it is not, I assume) his health points woule be around the fifty-mark. It doesn't take much to knock out Darwin, but he compensates for this with his speed — if he can't be hit, he can't be knocked out.
Known moves: Thundershock, Agility, Iron Tail, Headbutt, Tackle, Scratch.
Other facts (optional): Ah, no.
Be kind.

Is this still open? If so:
- Name: Pans
- Species: Pansage
- Gender: Male
- Backstory: Pans is a wild pokemon; he's never been caught by humans (though he's heard tales that life with humans is better than in the wild, he's too headstrong right now). He hasn't joined the other heroic pokemon yet, but will encounter them and then decide.
- Personality: Lazy. All he wants in life is food and rest. Only the perils of the wild keep him moving. Despite himself, if he sees a child (of any species, including human) in danger, he'll do what he can to save it- and then wonder why the heck he did it! Is also somewhat mischievous.
- Strengths and weaknesses: Pans is actually very clever, if he applied himself he could be a great leader. But he lacks motivation and might be caught off guard.
- Other facts (optional): Special Ability: Gluttony, Moves: Scratch, Leer, Lick, Vine Whip. Hates being called a "pansie".

A wandering band of Pokemon roams the Sevii Islands, Kanto and Johto, protecting humans and Pokemon alike from the forces of evil. These Pokemon protect humans, but they have little association with human civilization, and are wild, free Pokemon who roam the wild frontier.
They will all meet in Pewter City, where they stop Team Rocket from stealing some fossils in a dastardly scheme to create an army of prehistoric mons.
Each player will roleplay one Pokemon. Despite being set in Kanto and Johto, your Pokemon may be from any of the five generations. However, no legendaries are allowed.
And the early bird gets the worm. So no two players play using the same species of Pokemon.
Battles are different from the video game where Pokemon don't wait turns while the opponent makes a move, and where there isn't a limit of four moves. Although you do have to be reasonable when your Pokemon are fighting; you can't have your Pokemon use a hundred different moves in one go. And Pokemon need to be able to use that move in the game.
HM moves aren't considered; if a Pokemon can conceivably remove an obstacle, then they don't need to know a special move just to remove it.
Here's a template to create your Pokemon:
Here's my Pokemon:
