- Name: Dex Anthem
- Age: 15
- Gender: male
- Appearance: A rather Bishonen looking teenager, he has short cut white hair, light blue eyes, and a perpetually emotionless expression on his face, though this changes when he is in social situations, in those, he is always smiling even when unpleasant news is delivered. He is tall and wiry, preferring to wear white long sleeved shirts, a red jacket with a lot of pockets, cargo pants, and boots. Most say he looks a little strange.
- Backstory: Dex doesn't really know his actual name, as he is an adopted child without many memories. His father calls him Index Anthem. You do not call him Index Anthem. Only his father calls him that. If you do call him Index Anthem, prepare for an unpleasant experience. Mainly because his father is a member of the Wizard Enclave and had done magical experiments to young Dex. The end result of these experiments was that he can "control the Vectors of anything not alive" in his vicinity. Its hinted that his father plans to expand the power to include living objects. Dex objects. Strongly. He projects a strong Jerkass Façade when he needs to, usually when people try to bully him. He's actually a very good hearted person, and though he says how much he hates having to save the heroes, he does it anyway. As far as the Cursed with Awesome bit? A lot of factions, including the vampires, want to use him for one plot or another. He is always having to fight either supernatural enemies or jerks at his school who don't get the point about how people who bully Dex Anthem do not get away cleanly. Clarification on his powers: Dex can essentially bend or manipulate any non-living thing he notices in a certain radius around him. He can potentially hurl an attack right back at you. Thing is, he has to notice whatever he's manipulating, so a sneak attack, if done well enough, can really hurt him.
- Personality: Believe it or not, Dex just wants to be left alone and not attacked by anyone. He just has a bad way of going about that, going after people who have already bullied him so as to neutralize their menace to him. He is also very protective of what friends he has. Frighteningly protective. He has no real concept of social skills and often gets so emotionally involved in some things that he cannot properly concentrate on using his powers. His powers sometimes act up when he gets depressed. He has a number of crushes at the school, but is too afraid to act on any of them.
- Powered Armor is Comet
@ Nick: Sorry for not mentioning this earlier in the original post. The whole point of this power-armor idea is so that mostly normal people can hold their own against supernatural creatures. Supernatural characters in power armors, though in principle can work, tends to break the game so hard it hurts.
So, while the personality of your character is all right (a little too much on the dramatic side, but hey, whatever floats your boat), the backstory most definitely does not fit on my setting. Dex's father cannot be a wizard. You can, however, have him be something else human that still maintains the spirit, then I would not be against it.
@ Pigeon: Can lolgm haz cheez-Character Sheet?
Well, it's going to be at the middle of the scale between idealism/lightheartedness and cynicism/drama. After all, it is inspired by Super Robot Wars in terms of mood and story welding.
Unfortunately, it is hardly likely I can get this off the ground unless enough people join. Then again, every joiner helps - if we get more than five or six, we can begin.
Support Taleworlds! You couldn't make a robot related to Gun X Sword? I would love to play that one. If not, I'll think more about joining.
Inspirational quote against powerful image of nature.I've... yet to watch that, unfortunately. Really, the mecha anime genre is so huge I'd need SRW for quick recapping. Sorry for that.

You are a young citizen of Redwich, a fairly nondescript township of average size and population in the middle of... somewhere. As a high school or univesity student, your life is good, though somewhat boring, since nothing ever seems to happen in this town. Not even gangsters and cop chases. Or at least, that is what it looks like on the surface.
In truth, Redwich is a one-of-a-kind yet peaceful trading hub between the human communities, a wizard enclave and a rogue vampire clan. Most of the trading took place in the underground complex underneath the local hospital, where a black market had been set up to best cater for the needs of each kind.
This is the place where the humans would trade blood (hooray for blood transfusion technology abused on an industrial scale) in exchange for the vampires' gold and monetary items. The vampires, in turn, would trade their magic crystals, a powerful yet forbidden reagent made by the condensation of life energy into crystallized forms, to the wizards in exchange for their magical artifacts. And finally, the wizards offered their service as the peacekeepers and security forces in this strange marketplace in exchange for the right to trade.
It is a sort of smuggler's trading post that, while beneficial and peaceful in principle for all concerned, would still probably be considered mostly unethical by the world at large. Not to mention, if the truth about the marketplace would ever leak out, so would the existence of the wizard and vampire communities, and the result would likely be extremely troublesome for all those concerned.
Things started to go wrong, however, when one of the young women in the town took a liking to a particular vampire bloke, defied all advices by friends and family, and married him. This act, while innocent on its own, drew the attention of the global vampire authorities. Deciding that the existence of the couple and by extension the entire town might threaten the secrecy of their kind, they began taking steps to prepare for a thorough purge of the city, human, wizards and vampires alike.
Little did they know that Mayor Gerard Martins, an enigmatic and technologically savvy figure, had already taken steps to stop this from happening...
Welcome to "Wizard, vampires and powered armors, oh my!", a rather weird idea of mine. This RP idea is inspired by, in no particular order, the settings of Harry Potter, Twilight and Super Robot Wars, and seeks to incorporate elements from all three genres into one storyline as seamlessly as possible. The primary concept can be summed up in a single sentence: "Students get powered armors and fight vampires with them."
You will begin by submitting a character sheet, just like the other R Ps, which consist of:
Then, you will choose one powered armor model among those listed below.

Does that premise look interesting to you? If yes, apply away!
