There is a good image (that I swore was the image for Samus Is a Girl but I'm mistaken... Okay, that's an odd image as well... anyway)- found it.
◊
Fast Eddie removed the previous image, so it looks like we need a replacement. Old image below:
And, yes, jicragg's image looks like a definite winner (at least once it's verticalized)!

Jet-a-Reeno!Stupid ninjas. I asked them as well.
I'm not sure, is it too big?
The thing is... Samus Is a Girl could use a better image as well. Could we cut it in half and use the top for Samus Is a Girl and the bottom for this page?
Panel one would go good on Samus Is a Girl. the Bridget one though the Ass in the pic might draw complaints.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Using the top half of that strip for Samus Is a Girl is a great idea. I don't think enough of Bridget's ass is showing in the bottom panel to raise much stink over...hell, the pic we just put on Diamonds in the Buff is a lot more racy than that.
I like the last modification, but this picture doesn't really need the "realizing that Samus is female" part, does it...? Unless we're explaining the number, but really...

I am now known as Flyboy.Oh, I missed that part. Right, makes sense now. No objections...

I am now known as Flyboy.... But it's still about the players' reaction. Not the reaction of other characters, which is what the trope is about.
I don't want to be the boring, annoying naysayer, it's just that, well, the image should reflect the trope, and Dropped A Bridget On Him is often mistaken for Viewer Gender Confusion.
Yeah, I agree that picture is better for Viewer Gender Confusion (as the current pic is just a face, even if it does look androgynous).
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.![]()
The "players" there are still characters for this comic. It is clearly showing some characters reacting with surprise. It still fits.
If it looks androgynous it is obviously not JAFAAC. The ambiguiuty is a key point for Viewer Gender Confusion, so the picture there is fine.

They're characters in the comic, but they're the audience for the work the character's from. Thus Viewer Gender Confusion, not Dropped A Bridget On Him.
The trope is about the shock resulting from the gender surprise. Yes, its easier to document in-universe reactions (which this comic counts as), but that doesn't make the audience reaction wrong, just YMMV.
Writing a post-post apocalypse LitRPG on RR. Also fanfic stuff.
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:

Preface: This is my third IPD thread. In my last two, people have stated that I'm failing to do something, which I gathered has to do with CamelCase. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, and, if I fail as miserably as usual, please help me fix my mistake(s) by explaining VERY SLOWLY. Now, to the actual discussion.
The picture - apart from being well-captioned - leaves no impression upon the reader as to what the trope means. It's a shadowy figure and a cute girl. Could it be symbolic? Certainly. But we shouldn't have to make that leap.
Link, because I seem to do things poorly around these here parts.
Things of mine keep getting deleted. I curse too much.
