What about if an object was willingly destroyed by its owner?
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Almost every single appliance shown is extremely proud of its function and craves being used for its intended purpose. Now, does that make "....personal..." appliance less disturbing or much, much worse?
I wonder if certain ones get jealous and heartbroken when their master finds a real partner.

bogleech.com for my writing, comics and cartoons.^ I know I should be shaking my head in disgust, but all I can do is laugh. Imagine what their quest to find their master would look like...
But yeah, Brave Little Toaster doesn't need any help making it creepy and horrifying. The Phil Hartman AC unit exploding, the sentient cars being destroyed... The words "Why God, why?" spring to mind.

Now, that movie has lots of horrifying moments, but after thinking about it, there's one idea that could have given at least one troper nightmares forever. During the song Worthless, we hear all these stories about the cars and why they're there. Well, considering how many collisions there are each year in the US, at least a decent percentage of the cars in the yard were there due to a wreck. Also remember that older cars were not known for their safety and you get some very nice nightmare fuel. Imagine the horror a car would feel if, as the last thing it saw of its master, was a twisted corpse being pulled from inside. You may now give your vehicle a hug.
