For those of you who are interested, I will mention that as the GM I'll simply be controlling NPC. I won't have my own player character(s).
Speaking of which, the major Non-Player Character(s):
The Head of the Institute: The guy who runs the acadamy and the one in charge. He rarely interacts with the students save at the start of a new school year, when (normally) he gives a speech. This year, though, it was given by a representative of his (Cain Drogen, see below).
Signum: The mysterious, grey-hooded, white mask wearing fellow who bestows the tudents with their EGO. He rarely explains things clearly and his origins are unknown: for the most part he's left things up to the students.
Johan Schmitz: Former head of archeology who hasn't yet been replaced. He disappeared, presumed dead, on a field trip into the ruins on the island. At the time of his disappearance he had been busy researching the little understood civilisation that built the aforementioned ruins.
Allisa Stray: Entertainment organizer and student representative. Essentially, she arranges parties, helps give counseling to troubled students, and runs the student campuses. Reports show that approximately 2 in 3 male students develop some sort of crush on her: of course, this is certainly because she's extremely attractive and out-going, and is most certainly not some sort of pheremone based mind control.
Eric & Deric Rhymebody: Despite the name, these guys are the heads of faculty for maths & science, respectively. They're twins and have similar personalities (dull, monotonous, deathly serious), so people tend to get them mixed up. A lot. They're currently working on some sort of project that'll be unveiled at the end of year celebrations...
Cain Drogen: Right-hand man of The Head who has a much more 'hands on' role, being much closer to a 'head master'. He's quite strict and almost aggressive with his handling of matters.
Mel Rain: Head of faculty for art & design. She's quite a mellow individual, relaxed but not lazy. She's very trustworthy.
Elizabeth Chicken: Head of faculty for the life sciences as well as the person in charge of keeping the island in good condition for tourists, students & staff. She seems to prefer animals to humans.
As for your EGO: once you've created your character, I will post a description of your EGO so that it fits the character and isn't overpowered. You can then ask to have it tweaked or make slight modifications if there are Hidden Depths to your character that would affect it.
Lastly, I may add more major N.P.C.s to this list.

It's an ordinary, sunny day at the Freudian Institute for Young People. This island based acadamy is home to over 10,000 individuals, both students & staff, and offers luxury accomodations. The island is an important historical site, home to ruins which will undoubtedly interest students with a more archealogical bend.
There's a library stocked with some of the rarest & most advanced textbooks & literature from around the world, kitchens serving high-quality meals 24/7, advanced laboratories for scientific research in various fields, and an indoor stadium for sports events of all kinds.
On the whole, it's a place that you can relax and study for your exams in whatever course you like. Here, potential is nurtured and talent flourishes. We're certain you'll enjoy staying here...
...
Also, it's definitely not actually run by brain-eating, parasitic Doppelgangers of the original staff, who may or may not be planning something much darker behind the scenes and using the acadamy merely as a front.
I mean, that'd be silly, right...? Don't worry, though! Because even if such a completely hypothetical series of events were going on, a small group of students at the acadamy, both senior and junior, have been approached by a mysterious, grey-hooded fellow and given tremendous power in the form of EGO, synthetic life-forms powered by the emotions of the person controlling them: the 'Super EGO'. Now, this small group of Super EGO must, under the direction of the mysterious 'Citadel', figure this all out and stop something terrible...
Can you unravel the mystery of the Institute, why it was built, and its' leaders plans? Can you keep your EGO (singular or plural) a secret, and not let it die? Can you get decent grades amidst all of this?
Some rules to be set:
