I also liked searching for the legendary animals.
The Atoll was quite pretty.
The only compliant I have about Endless Ocean 2 was that unlocking the Cavern Of the Gods takes too long.

Seeing all these piss ant tropers trying to talk tough makes me laugh. If Matrix were here, he'd laugh too.I loved Endless Ocean 2. Although I will admit, when I first recieved it as a gift, I tried to return it.
Then I started playing it, and lost tons of time.
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.I think I tend to defend series that I see as being mindlessly bashed, no matter what. Of course, that makes me sound way more heroic than I really am.
Read my stories! It was a gift, I didn't want it, I didn't think I would like it, I read the reviews, I still didn't think I would like it, someone in our house opened it, I got mad at that person, I started playing it.
It was so... relaxing, yet fun.
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.I will defend Code Geass and Tiger and Bunny. Mostly because they both glued me to my computer screen for hours on end.
It mostly involves me shaking people as I yell WATCH THEM OR ELSE.

Bet you didn't see that coming@Flyboy - Watch Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood!
/rabid fanboyism
Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing.@Flyboy - Brotherhood is much better!
<<Fanboy Hat Off>>
Well, more people, at least going by the numbers of DVD sold (if my source is correct), prefer the new anime better. It also helps that there are a lot of significant foreshadowings that leads to latter episodes.
Although it is up to you to decide which have more profound story, one thing everyone agrees is that Brotherhood have MUCH more awesome moments.
So, I say that if you liked the first anime, you will at least like this one too, if not more.
Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing.

I hope for 3 they try to please fans instead of critics. I did love world hopping though. The arctic was fun and I loved Egypt.
