i liked his animal hormone doping skit, when he Oh, Crap! at the redskins mascot.
butwouldn't Notre Dames team dope w/ Leprechaun hormones?
"I will strike down all that threaten my clan!"The bit Stephen did last night on Stacey Campfield was both hilarious and, frankly, frightening. And his Take That! at Sarah Palin was epic.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"The fact that the former Scientology leader sent Colbert a watermelon with a knife stuck in it and a note saying "You!" is almost too insane to believe. Downright surreal. Watching that, I don't think I've ever felt more deeply immersed in The Tyson Zone.
Do not obey in advance.Agreed. One of Colbert's best bits in a long time, and he didn't even have to make the jokes.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"The segment where Colbert parodied Rubio's inability to stop squirming was awkwardly hilarious.
ABC's "subtitles" of Rubio's Spanish version of the speech reminded me of You Tube subtitles.
Do not obey in advance.Holy crap. I think Colbert might've revealed his real feelings on the banks when he said anywhere else people would "line them up and shoot them." He almost seemed disappointed that it doesn't happen in the US.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.I too am disappointed that it didn't happen in the U.S. Colbert's persona is deliberately constructed to make liberal points while appearing superficially to make conservative points.
The joke was, "How awesome is it to live in a country where bankers who commit abuses on the scale of those that led up to the housing crisis get to remain free and keep all their money, rather than being shot? Go America!"

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"
Yeah. But he just sounded a lot more bitter than he usually does when delivering those lines. Normally, he'd deliver a line like that with a smile. This time, he delivered it with a look and tone of resignation.
Agreed. He can't always keep up the facade.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"A $1.2 million car that you can't legally drive? I agree with Stephen on that one... it seems kind of pointless. Even though it would be cool to own one.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"

That man's mustache was epic.
I was listening to the radio and heard Colbert read a Ray Bradbury story on Symphony Space. It was kind of cool.
