Also: I've been watching some of Toby's older material — he had quite the dirty mouth earlier in his career. "The Girlfriend Song" would raise quite a few eyebrows if he posted it today, and even "There's a Floppy Disk on the Floor" has some swearing in it. Lighter and Softer indeed. Admittedly, it hasn't exactly hurt his popularity. Wait, I said this on the previous page. Oh, well.

Somewhere on one of his channels is a video of him singing live at a convention. "Floppy Disk" is among the songs, and all profanity has been removed.

As for why he suddenly became Lighter & Softer, we may never know. Best guesses or either a girlfriend or a niece who started watching.

He sang "Floppy Disk" at Vidcon 2011. I have that in my favorites.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Tobuscus Animated Adventures.

I'm counting quite a lot of tropes here.

Hilarity and epicosity ensue. I expected it to just be old sound clips like the first one, ("Oh my God there's a bear with a gun!") but this was awesome. And it already has three mentions on the Tobuscus page! Fighteer, did you add those?

I sure did.

If this really takes off we may need to soft split it.

I really like Tobuscus from what I've seen of him.

But why oh why doesn't he organize his different series into playlists?

That video was thoroughly enjoyable. I want more!

Generally he organizes them via the annotations, so if you click "Next" on a Cute Win Fail, you get to the next Cute Win Fail. Also his gaming episodes are playlisted, usually.

He posted his Grandbuscus episode on Tobuscus yesterday — hilarious, and I want more. Apparently he's going for a world record of simultaneous views of a single video this Friday, with Avatar: The Last Airbender (the cartoon, not the film). 6 PM PST — I'm there, baby!

Yeah, I use a tablet for internet, so annotations don't really work. But eh.

I agree that it is annoying finding the next episode in a series when annotations don't work.

Okay, who has not yet seen the Minecraft Sugar Cane Daddy song? [1] Tell me this isn't his funniest thing ever.

Also, poor guy had a two hour delay in his flight arriving in NY last night and when he finally got on Vokle, it was just to tell us all how tired he was and then pass out. Ah well, it happens to everyone.

Mister Turner was on E! News last night. [1] Go Toby, get all mainstream on us and stuff! I'm not going to be playing Modern Warfare 3 but I love that prime time channels are starting to pick up on him.

I hope Toby goes to PAX East 2012. The reason being that I am going. First gaming con — woo! I figure on one T-shirt for each day: Portal 2, Alliance, and Tobuscus. The latter of which I do not actually have as yet, but plan to acquire prior to the event.

I really hope he tries the Netflix watching livestream again because I was all set to do that last week. /cry

According to yesterday's Lazy Vlog, there are two more Tobuscus vids coming: one is a new original song and the other is a new Trapped in a Vlog. I can't wait. Also, Toby is absurdly adorable when he's sick. I know that sounds strange coming from a guy ten years older than he is, but it's true.

I love Toby Games. Especially the obligatory "I'M DEAD" episodes. Although episode 2 may be a new record for soonest "I'm dead" episode.

Is that some kind of strange bug he's running into with the release version of Skyrim? The difficulty slider is spazzing out! There is no way he is going to survive at Master difficulty.

And I Can Swing My Sword came out as well. It's not as anticipated, but I enjoyed it anyway. Always a fan of the lesser known items, I guess. Peace off!

Yeah, I saw that too. It's very nearly as awesome, and he vlogged yesterday that he might try to get an iTunes song out of it. Heck, he's done enough improv in Minecraft to do a full-length album.
