Monique smiled slightly and nodded, unfazed by Alucard's directness. "That is correct. I suppose my friends have already told you that, where we come from, humans and vampires cannot interbreed, yes?"
"I have spent the last, oh, 40 years studying how humans and vampires differ physiologically. Meeting an actual hybrid, why, that's amazingly useful, even if you aren't the same breed of vampire as we are. Could I ask you a few questions?"
She glanced at the door as she heard the breaking glass and saw some people rushing out, and frowned in annoyance. She patted her shoulder bag, which contained her trusty sidearm * , but stayed beside Alucard for now.
Iji nodded to Aigis, noting her slightly altered voice. She wasn't sure if it was just her ears playing tricks on her, but maybe the android girl had started to really develop over those five months. It was a nice thought.
"I know what you mean. I'm, eheh, kinda in charge of a village now, somehow. I really need to get back to them too."
When the commotion from outside reached her, Iji frowned and lowered her hand to the nanogun. "OK, That did not sound good. I'm going to check it out." She said, knowing from experience that, in a City, things were never simple.
The young woman made her way outside, following the others as fast as the gun's considerable weight allowed her. As she walked, she activated the nanofield - the first time in 3 years. She wasn't sure if it would even work, but soon the air around her was saturated by the protective cloud of invisible nanites.
When she found the source of the noise - a small crowd of fighters opposing what looked like an armoured angel - she slowed and advanced steadily * . Coming up near some guy in a red coat, about her height, she kept her gun lowered and looked over at him. "What's the situation?" She asked quietly, keeping her eye on the angel.

Danika slid around the corner to a stop out in the hallway to see a tall figure in some sort of armor with... artificial wings? They obviously weren't natural, but they looked... convincingly real. And apparently it had two voices, one of which was analyzing them as they appeared in front of it. What it said when she got there was unsettling. 'Too many anomalies'? 'Must neutralize for further examination'? Hm. As if. And then it told them to drop their weapons and surrender or it would have to use physical force. After Morrigan's comment, Danika sighed and muttered "You're a masochist, aren't you?".
In one quick movement, Danika drew her scimitar and shield, and, holding the shield out in front of her and the sword arced overhead, said "Did you ever think about asking nicely for a change? You just interrupted the first relaxing drink I've had in months." She then began muttering something under her breath, causing the symbol etched on the shield to ignite, spreading to the rest of the shield and coating it in a layer of flame. "Your move, suit!" she shouted as the flames danced onto the scimitar as well, causing the runes running along the edge of the blade to glow a deep orange color.
Copy X had fallen silent for a time as he set to analysing the situation. This was terrible. This was awful. Quite aside from the music and the heart-shaped lights, which seemed to suggest that this was some sort of... dating area* , there were strangely dressed humans - or reploids, he didn't care which - that, judging from their choice of clothes, were no doubt Irregulars. Mavericks. He did not deign to interact with these dregs any more than was necessary. For some reason he found his eyes drifting toward the blonde haired woman in the rather ancient clothing. She seemed familiar, somehow.
Suddenly, disjointed memories barrelled their way through his mind like a runaway freight train. A city. Was it Neo Arcadia? His own nation certainly seemed to be part of it, but he couldn't tell for sure. Dr. Weil. A group of oddly clothed people... he felt that he had hated them, but he didn't know why. Were they Irregulars that he had executed? Pain. Indignation. The Resistance. All these and more seemed to press down on his memory banks, threatening to split it in two. With a quiet grunt of pain, he closed his eyes and grit his teeth. He could have sworn he heard glass shattering, too. When he finally opened his eyes again, he noted the bar was a lot less crowded than it had been. That could only be a good thing. Regaining his presence of mind, he glared at Yasuke.
"I am not here for a drink," spat Copy X, the wayward reploid's hands clenching subtly. "I am Master X, the true sovereign of Neo Arcadia. Show me how to leave this place. Now."

Locking you up on radar since '09"Iji!" Maria then yelled as she ran past Master X. "Alucard, keep an eye on Master X!"
Alucard shrugged and kept an eye on Master X, "You may ask a few questions."
"Armor?! So he'll have to be knocked out the old-fashioned way..." Rogue glanced at Iji a moment. "What's happenin', sugar, is that this guy wants us to surrender, but I don't think he knows what he's dealin' with."
Maria had joined the group by this point.
Wizard Needs Food BadlyThe 'midget' unsheathed the sword with a golden hilt behind his cape the moment it seemed as if the armored man would not surrender so easily. Despite it's size, the blade itself looked fierce with it's golden hue and it's 3 sharp ridges lined along the sides of the sword.
“I should say that you would be better off surrendering as you are outnumbered. Whatever your choice my be, I will not hesitate to use my blade.” Metaknight retorted as he glanced at the greenhouse entrance and noticed that more of the patrons from the bar had arrived.
The Cousin carefully slipped around the corner, just in time to see the... thing. The thing with wings. Artificial wings, in fact, and a decidedly heavily armed set of armour. Bizarre. Or at least, relatively bizarre. Bizarre compared to the rest of this dusty old place, at least. Compared to some of the things it had heard about in the War, it was pretty standard-looking. That, of course, was the interesting bit.
The Great Houses had a hell of a lot of things like that tucked away, biologically hardened and temporally reconfigured super-soldiers custom-made to take names and delete ass from the casual nexus. The thing was, the Cousin was wearing a set of armour and biology designed to withstand exactly that kind of attack. It was also designed to thoroughly piss off the attacker, but that was another function entirely. Besides, everyone else was still alive and in existence, and it looked like it was trying to scan them. It was also still humanoid, which was apparently not something the House Military did very often. If it was one of theirs, it was exactly as lost as everyone else was.
Besides, it was mentioning Eldar and hadn't tried to invoke ultimate authority over everyone in the room yet. That made it pretty unlikely to belong to any of the Waves , and given the amount of other unrelated shit in this beautiful example of temporal nowhere-land that probably made it another random posthuman arsehole. That or it was some Regen-Inf agent, which also seemed damn unlikely given that no-one was dead yet. It didn't look like one of the subtle ones. With its throat still burning and its respirator hanging around its neck, the Cousin really didn't particularly relish the thought of dealing with either of those things right now.
"Look." It said, casually unfolding the shadow of the razor. Not that it particularly wanted to use it, but everyone else here seemed to be hankering for a fight and it was damned if it was going in unprepared. Vulgar technologies or no vulgar technologies, missiles weren't something you could really ignore. "Before you leap straight to trying to kill everyone, what the actual fuck do you want?"
As the woman went and checked the situation, regardless of his warning, Yasuke sighed and leaned on the counter again. If anything got tense, he'd be sure to find out anyway. It appeared that nearly everyone was going and checking, save for Alucard and Monique. And...the new guy who was screaming in his face.
"A way out? Wunderbar, maybe you can tell me!" Yasuke said, his voice raising just a smidgen. He propped his head up his arms and glowered at the robot, wondering if he was allowed to punch its lights out if it got too hasty. "This mansion appears to be displaced both in time and in space, so there you go. You're stuck here."
"Fucking hoorah."
Damnit, more of them. And none of the original ones were back down, fuck it. This was going to be a tough fight, but it had been through much worse before. Psychic locks were disengaged, so it was free to wreck havok on them if needed.
"Your Jurisdiction means nothing here, woman." it said plainly, snapping its gaze towards the woman. Apparently she was the mistress of the house, or at least claimed to be. All the more reason not to trust her by any means.
Identified as reanimated Homo Sapien, source of reanimation unknown. Oh, and she was supposed to be dead too. Lovely. No doubt a 7Deva rogue doing her own experiments for shits and giggles. Would explain the unknown species and the paradox over there.
The two girls that had also entered were of great interest, considering what E-47 told it. Identified as a Homo Sapien, multiple nanite reconfigurations detected. Nanomachines? If she was equipped with nanomachines, where was her biosuit? Anyone with a lick a sense would activate it in a situation like this. It had to let it go due to absolutely no time to consider, but underneath its helmet its eyes narrowed.
The robot was, as had been said, a Artificial android, cannot determine creator. Multiple anomalies detected, cannot compute.. Great, even more barrels of surprises and fun for him. The suit's goddamn catchphrase was starting to turn into "cannot compute."
"It's obvious what you're doing here, and I aim to stop it. And if you won't surrender by the creed of the I.E.M, I will stop you via physical force!" The glint of the flashlight gaze had burned a bright blue again, staring down all of its opponents. Unfortunately, new ones had arrived. Some worse than others.
The human was of minimal importance and the woman with the slight abnormality was interesting but of lower priority than some of the other creatures in this room, but the thing that had arrived behind him and the suited person in the room got his attention. While its appearance was shocking, it had been treated to suppress and ignore such shocks long ago at the Academy.
Cannot identify, multiple anomalies and unknown source detected. Possible source of Eldar, proceed with extreme caution.
Fuck.
Identified as possible new alien species, overloaded with biological anomalies. Multiple temporal interferences detected, target is subjected to multiple paradoxes. Suit contains multiple kinetic buffers and sealants, origin of remains cannot be determined. Engaging space-time buffer.
What. The. Fuck.
"...Understood." was all it said, although it was considering engaging the buffer manually itself. Both of these subjects were clearly the source of the signal, and the suited person appeared to be a member of the goddamn NEGIR. This could not stand.
For a moment the suit stood still, staring them all down.
"What the actual fuck I want? I'll tell you what I want, NEGIR scum...I want your corpse in a body bag!" Suddenly, without warning, the wings flapped and the suited agent took off into the air. It crashed once again through the greenhouse and flew off out of view. Unfortunately, its weaponry did not. An entire plethora of missles had shot through the greenhouse, chasing down the occupants, along with the greenhouse itself seemingly started to crumble out of its own will. An astute eye could see the shadow of the suit flying by, but it was certainly very swift. Very swift indeed.
"You wanna know what's going on...?" Dante turned his head to face the girl, guns still out and on the ready. "That's what's goin' on. Now if you excuse me..."
In a flash, the guns had been put away and the guitar case unzipped to reveal a massive sword with a purple hilt. The hilt was shaped as a dragon, attempting to swallow the blade whole. It crackled and zapped with electric energy.
Dante! I will not be used for this mindless-
"Shut it, or else I'll send ya to a blacksmith to smelt ya" was all Dante responded, quieting down the sword. Readying its blade, he gave a malicious little grin.
Right before their very eyes, the human had transformed into something very different. With a flash of red light and a burning aura, there was now a red demonic looking beast in front of them. With a white helmeted face, the horns jutted out like lightning bolts themselves. Burning red eyes glowered from underneath it, claws dotting on every hand and foot. A pair of fin-like wings adorned the creature, fluttering as if it was just waiting to fly.
"You ain't the only one with wings in this place, flyboy!" he said with a twisted distortion, apparently still Dante despite the obvious physical change. With that, he took off with the sword to find the flyby assailant. Of course his flight pattern was fucked up by the goddamn missles chasing after him, causing him to spend most of his time avoiding the stupid things.
"My...that man is full of surprises." Morrigan mused, looking up at where Dante had flown off. She smiled, then took off herself. The wings had seemingly changed into what could only be described as a black jetpack, emitting green light as she rocketed off. The missles as well were chasing her down, although one could have sworn they could have heard her giggle as they did.

bluh bluh"I don't need wings to fly," Rogue said as she flew up into the air as well, following Dante and Morrigan. She was aiming to just punch the guy, and did not care if a missile was following her or not.
Meanwhile, Maria was trying to drag Iji out of the greenhouse, so as to hopefully avoid the missiles.
"Crap crap crap crap crap," Maria said as she ran.

Wizard Needs Food BadlyAigis stood between her friends and the missiles. There was the sound of shattering glass as Aigis was surrounded by a blue fog. A large figure
◊ dressed in a blue robe with a spartan helm, spear, and shield ring floating around her appeared. The Persona floated in front of all three of them and used her shield to block the incoming missiles.
Yukari smirked as she grabbed the top of her rip in space. With a tug she not only pulled herself out of the gap, but flipped up and sat down on top of it. The gap started to fly with the other groups as Yukari sat atop it side-saddle. She hid her growing grin behind her fan.
There was a rustling sound as the plants in the greenhouse went haywire, rapidly growing as the owner of the house stood in the centre of the ruined greenhouse, eyes closed and fists clenched. Outside, those who happened to look down at the ground would see the grass having a similar reaction, growing into enormous ropes of plant matter that seethed across the surface. Meanwhile, Taiyaki took the chance to back out of the room, hastily heading back towards the bar. Kathy, after a moment's hesitation, leapt on top of one of a now-enormous flower and clung to it, watching as it rose towards the gap in the ceiling.
After a moment, a rope of green matter would shoot through the top of the greenhouse, looping itself around the owner's waist and pulling her into the air to pursue the others.
Anyway here's BlackwallMaria saw the flower Kathy jumped on and jumped onto the flower as well.
"Iji, Aigis!" Maria said to the two. "This way!"
Wizard Needs Food Badly“Figured he would not give as easily, which makes it all the more thrilling.” Metaknight mused as he shot a few energy beams out of his sword just by quickly slashing it at the missiles that were heading towards him, slicing and destroying them in midair.
His cape morphed into a pair of bat-like wings afterwards as he flew after the armored man.
The Cousin neatly ducked under the first missile that sped its way, and sidestepped around the second with a far less elegant and more panicked gesture. Whilst it knew its armour was definitely very good, and had been assured on the third day of initiation that the complex latticework of tainted bone and kinetic buffers ensures it was very likely the best protection it would ever have by the man that designed it, it wasn't entirely sure how well that claim would stand up to missiles. It wasn't too keen on finding out, either. Then the floor and walls behind it exploded, and it wasn't sure of anything at all.
As far as it was able to tell before it hit the floor, the kinetic buffers were indeed doing their jobs. Probably. It hadn't felt too much of a shock-wave and it wasn't reduced to a chunky red paste, so they were probably doing something. It wasn't on fire, either. The floor hurt a lot less than it was expecting, too, barely a bump rather than the bone-breaking collision that was more likely to result from this sort of shit. Godfather Morlock hadn't been joking. The Cousin managed to turn the impact into a roll, and came up with the shadow of its razor raised against the burning hallway...
Raised against the enemy that wasn't actually there any more, and appeared to have flown off into the night. It could tell from the multitudes of people trying to follow it through the shattered glass of the greenhouse.
"Fuck."

Monique smiled. "Thank you so much. My first question is, if you don't mind my prying, how were you conceived? Was it by the natural method, or some kind of artificial insemination or transplantation?" She asked, her face perfectly serious. When she hear the sound of several explosions outside, she frowned and drew her sidearm in earnest, the sleek pistol powering up with a low whine.
"Oh dear, things seem to be getting out of hand..."
Luckily, Iji set her nanogun to Resonance Reflector by default these days. When the situation fell apart completely, she found herself being half-dragged along my Maria, chased by several of the angel's missiles. Seeing Aigis stopping to deploy one of her personae, Iji shook herself free of Maria's grip and turned, the nanogun coming up. "Just a sec, Maria!"
Iji ran up beside Aigis and waited. If any of the missiles made it past or around the persona, it would be smacked away by a yellow shockwave of energy. After that, she followed Maria again, leaping up onto the flowers beside her.
"Urgh, this is just like old times." She growled, waiting for the reflector to recharge.

"To the point then," Alucard sighed to Monique. "My father may be a vampire, but he is also demonic and weilds dark magic powers."
"You lack the demonic taint that vampires in my world would have," Alucard concluded the conversation and readied his sword.
"Ugh, of all the times to fight," Maria shook her head and looked at Iji as the flower grew.

Wizard Needs Food BadlyOgnyan lazily looked over at Copy X.
"The door's over there, fuckwit."
Vandersham, however, quickly intervened, having heard the word "sovereign" and mentally adding a cha-ching to it.
"Ahaha... Never you mind him, you sovereignty, Ogny's just starting to feel the drink a bit. Hroxler Vandersham, humble purveyor of potions and various other useful items. Now, sir, if you don't mind my asking, what sort of people do you lead?"
Eddy, meanwhile, had decided to wander out in the hallway to see what all the fuss was about.
Pretend there's something clever written here. The teleporting man kept running, just keeping it a straight line as much as possible. He had to be nearing the other end of the mansion by now, unless it was really big. He passed by another white door, all white door rooms were bathrooms by his guess. Up ahead some kid was also running the same direction to a door at the end of the hall. He decied to try the door inbetween him and the kid really quick.
... Only to find that it was the greenhouse, again. "What?! I didn't turn aroun- Oh, I hate shifting space!" he said, turning to leave quickly. He didn't get far, as one of the wildly growing flower plants happened to catch him by the ankle and drag him up with it, dangling by his leg. "OH COME ON!" he yelled, trying to get free.
You are reading this. The scrawny-looking figure in the bone suit had come out and joined them, addressing the winged figure. Apparently that second voice was having a hell of a time with the various stranger members present in front of it. I.E.M., huh? she thought as the figure shouted at the bone-suited figure before launching off into the air and firing missiles at the group. It managed to fit siege weapons in such a small suit? Impressive, she thought, dodging to the side as one came straight for her and impacted with a wall, exploding. Powerful ones, too. And of course it had to fly off... can't stand airborne targets.
A second missile came right after the first and, seeing that the rest had cleared the area, Danika steadied herself and sidestepped the missile, bashing it with her shield and sending it off course into a nearby wall. Darting to the side and jumping out the new hole in the wall, she reached into one of her belt pouches and pulled out a small, wooden, acorn-shaped carving. Now outside, she quickly tossed it onto the ground near her feet, thinking Never thought I'd have to do this again, then crouched and jumped up towards the mansion. She managed to clear a few feet when suddenly an oak tree erupted from the ground beneath her. Now riding on one of its many thick branches, she used the momentum of its rapid growth to aid her own second jump up onto the roof of the mansion.
Now safely on the roof of the mansion, Danika sheathed her scimitar and pulled out her rifle before giving chase to the flying figure. "Ah, a good old rooftop chase. It's been too long," she said to herself as she sprinted onwards.
The missiles that had been ricocheted off of Athena's shield and the nano reflector had crashed through the walls of the greenhouse. Now with too little integrity to support itself, the greenhouse started to collapse upon itself. Most of the other dodged missiles had blasted through into the hallway, creating fires and general destruction in the area.
Spriggan and Chung would note that their missiles were still coming after them, and were distressingly close...
Those that had gotten on top of the roof would notice the dogfight that had already started to transpire. The flying suited creature had apparently raced off to the bell tower nearby in order to shake off or disorient its pursuers.
The first thing
Dante had noticed about this guy was that he was no spring chicken when it came to an aerial fight. He practically owned those skies, soaring around like it was no trouble at all. Then again, he didn't have missiles on him.
But that could be taken care of, after some fancy flight work to circle around the missiles. Taking Alastor in hand, he pulled out an Ultra Ball from the fleshy substitute that was his belt and threw it out. In a flash of red light, a magnificent but deadly looking bird materialized and soared across the sky. A mane of long red and yellow hair flowed from its head as it emitted a scream in the sky.
Beatrix, spotting the missles, cawed and flapped those powerful wings against them. Even for weaponry of their caliber, the power of the wind had blown them away just long enough for Dante to do exactly what he had in mind. The sword crackled with electricity before zapping through the air and onto the missles. Overloading them, they exploded quite nicely.
"Now, babe, 'bout time we take care of the douchebag with the wings!" he told Beatrix with a extraordinarily fanged smile, before taking off again after it. Beatrix shot a fierce glance at the synthetic creature, than hauled tail after it. Their little stunt had left them a bit behind, but they were gaining speed fast enough.
Morrigan had already taken care of her missles, knocking them down with those lovely tentacles of her. Now all that remained was the charming little angel in front of her, who was flying off at surprising speed. "Come here, you're not the only one with toys..." she murmured, before letting off a cross spread of her own missiles with a wicked pair of wings.
Much to her surprise, they had only rocketed off to be stopped in thin air and sent back towards the group. "Adorable, but you'll have to do better than that..." it said, before banking to the left and up the bell tower.
A psychic. Of course, it would be a psychic. Perhaps he would read her mind, what fun that might be...
But Rogue, with her lack of wings and the like, caught it off guard. Being smacked in the back from the punched, it careened into the bell and through it with a keening ring. For a split second it had stumbled before soaring off into flight again. Shields down at 5%, do-
"Ja ja I know, I know." it grumbled, flying around the belltower in a turn and taking a sharp turn up and over the flight group with a new wave of missiles along with ones it had deflected with Morrigan. Quick and sharp turns and missile spam, never failed.
At least, not yet it hadn't. What it'd do if Tanner were here, then this would be a real piece of cake...

bluh bluhA woman in a pink t-shirt and tight jeans walked into the bar. By either an amazing coincidence or a mere stroke of luck, she looked to be the spitting image of Maria Renard... same blond hair, same blue eyes, and same general figure.
"Awesome music!" the woman said in a Californian accent, dancing in time to the music. "Get me a tequila!"
As Rogue past him and he then fired a second missile at her, she flew up into the air and just as both the first and the second missile were about to hit her, dived down and let them both eliminate themselves.
Maria watched the battle from afar, impatient on the plant growing.

The woman smiled faintly as Yasuke spoke up.
"I thank you for your concern, but I'm sure I'll be able to handle this," she replied. "After all, what kind of housekeeper refuses to greet the household's guests?" With that, she followed the others out the door.
" I'm sorry, but I really don't know what I'm supposed to be telling you..." whimpered Taiyaki, shrinking a little under the interrogator's gaze, just as a number of other people burst into the room.
"Physical force? How melodramatic," Kathy replied with a slight yawn, raising her fan to partially cover her face. "I don't like surrendering much, so I suppose this will have to end in a fight."
"No, it won't," replied the brunette woman shortly, stepping forward. As she moved, several of the plants rustled a little, turning towards the mistress of the house. "This house has never been a place of bloodshed, and I won't allow it to become that way. I'll have to ask you to back down."
Anyway here's Blackwall
