Ska-reggae-punk-ragga-jungle-hiphop. The Rebel Soul Sound System by The Dingees.
Which, as far as I know, is the only album in that genre.
Hip-hop, The Cool.
"It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt." - Some guy with a snazzy hat. It's kind of a tie between progressive metal and ambient music, though I listen to a lot more of the former, so I'll go with that. Oh, favourite album: Dream Theater - Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence. I think it's quite impossible for anything to beat that album. It is perfect. Flawless. A work of divinity.

I like most things, but I suppose my favourite is the terminally uncool Melodic Pomp Rock/Soft Rock category. The best albums in this style are and always have been Hi Infideltiy, Boston, Reckless, Pyromania and 4.

Favorite album: Death's Symbolic. I know most people don't even consider it one of the best Death albums, but to me it's the best album ever.
Also, SID Metal.
