And what is your favorite album from that genre.

I love electronica, and I love Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works: Part II: 85-92.

[up]Where on earth is that picture from? Whose face is that? I've seen it a few times now, and I can't for the life of me work out if I should recognise who that is.

Ska-reggae-punk-ragga-jungle-hiphop. The Rebel Soul Sound System by The Dingees.

Which, as far as I know, is the only album in that genre.

On a serious note, progressive dreamfunk with OK Aeroplane by Thom Yorke and the Milky Neutral Hotels.

With post-avant jazzcore being a close second.

My answer may have been ridiculous, but I am talking about an album that actually exists.

are you implying pots-and-panscore doesn't exist?

It is played by hoboes on meth the world over.

Technical jazzgore with sludge/crust influences.

Let's see if I can make friends with everyone here at once.

Progressive blackened ambient melodic lo-fi dubcore with elements of trip-hop.

Did it work?

It's kind of a tie between progressive metal and ambient music, though I listen to a lot more of the former, so I'll go with that. To anyone who's ever seen a single one of my posts, this will be about as surprising as being savaged by dangerous animals in Australia.

Oh, favourite album: Dream Theater - Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence. I think it's quite impossible for anything to beat that album. It is perfect. Flawless. A work of divinity.

Don't worry Bound, you managed to fit both my favourites in there. I'm sure we can be chums.

I like most things, but I suppose my favourite is the terminally uncool Melodic Pomp Rock/Soft Rock category. The best albums in this style are and always have been Hi Infideltiy, Boston, Reckless, Pyromania and 4.

As I say, I'm keen on more than a few genres, but that's my favourite.

Punk is my favorite genre, forever.

Titus Andronicus' The Monitor is my favorite album but I wouldn't say it's entirely punk. Close enough.

Progressive metal.

Favorite album: Death's Symbolic. I know most people don't even consider it one of the best Death albums, but to me it's the best album ever.

Also, SID Metal.
