I found it kind of intolerable. The premise sounded interesting, or at least potentially interesting, but the characters were the worst I've seen in a while.
I remember hearing it had the same director or something. It's intended to be a spiritual sequel or whatever. Or a re-imagining. Or something.
Am I the only one that watched Daily Lives of High School Boys?
FUCKING HILARIOUS.
Also A slice of life show about boys instead of girls? Oh Sirrah, How deliciously absurd!
I think i'm going to make a thread about it. Surprisingly awesome.

It definitely was awesome, it's the show I thought Kimi To Boku was going to be, but it felt more like a mix between it and Nichijou.
Still, it's not as funny as Nichijou, and Kimi To Boku's second half was great becuase it had a lot of Character Development, something I don't think this will have.
Daily Lives of High School Boys seems okay. Not gut-wrenching hilarious like Nichijou but better than Kimi To Boku so far.
Ano Natsu De Matteru is a rehash of the Onegai Series' plot. Now called Onegai Sempai. LOLZ...
You guys need to give the new season more love XD.
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuIf you are interested in a curious combination of tropes, check out Inu × Boku SS. It's like a Shana Clone genre story, except that it is done in shoujo style, with the girl as the POV character and the love interest as a bishie. Also, he is such an extreme Extreme Doormat, that he is completely immune to her jerkassery. He even proposes it himself, to be treated like a dog.
Ah yeah, I was interested in that. I like the Shana Clone dynamic but I didn't like how the guy was always supposed to be like 17 or older and always looked about 12, but this anime doesn't have that, which was nice.
SPATULA, Supporters of Page Altering To Urgently Lead to Amelioration (supports not going through TRS for tweaks and minor improvements.)Okay, fine, I'll try out Inu x Boku. I suppose I did enjoy Shana Clone stuff like 75% of the time (didn't enjoy Shana itself, funnily enough).
Area No Kishi's second episode reached the main twist of the story, and I don't know if they just wanted to get to that part as soon as possible, or if this is going to be the pace the anime will have, but they have adapted one volumen and half in 2 episodes, that's impressive. At this rate they could cover the 27 volumes in three cours.
I still have a few series that I have to watch the first episode but Area No Kishi is my favorite of the season by a good margin, followed by Senki Zesshou Symphogear, Moretsu Pirates and Daily Lives Of High School Boys.
I'm not sure what's going on with Gokujyo, it looks like there will be some sort of five minute premiere
on the 16th. Should we add this on here, or should we just re-add it to the Spring Season?
No clue, but this article
says it'll be a series of shorts.
So it looks like it's technically a Winter Anime, but it's going to be one with five-minute episodes.
EDIT: And now the broadcast slated for today was cancelled.
What is this I don't even...

I've watched the first episode of everything from this season that isn't a sequel except for Brave10 and Ano Natsu, so I was wondering is Ano Natsu De Matteru worth watching?
I haven't watched anything from the Onegai series(since I understand that it shares a lot of similiarities with those shows), and don't really like harem shows, but I like the art style.
It's not really a harem show. Love Triangle at worst. I'd put it in the same category as last year's Ano Hana, if that helps. Probably with a different drama ratio though.

It plays with Romantic Comedy tropes in amusing ways. If you're looking for a light hearted romance (for now, anyways) it's a good watch.

Full Battle ModeI would compare it to Toradora, in terms of comedy, drama, and romance ratio significance.
If it's following the Onegai history, it'll focus on romance quite a bit less than Toradora. I mean, the romance will be there, but it'll serve as the catalyst for a Coming of Age Story more than being the primary focus.

Papa No Iukoto O Kikinasai looks good. Except those crooked Kodomo No Jikan noses on everyone's faces.
