Too bad they are cutting corners on this one (from hiring writers who have never done action before to getting the director of Step Up 3-D to recasting almost every actor with a cheaper alternative). It amazes me that Paramount is opening in June rather than a dump month like September.
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/How are they going to make another GI Joe with the actors for Cobra Commander, Destro, and the Baroness gone? The Other Darrin?
“Love is the eternal law whereby the universe was created and is ruled.” — St. Bernard^ Yes, and your point in posting that to a thread about its sequel is...?
All your safe space are belong to TrumpWhile I hated the first one, I mean really... they turned the Baroness from ...'THE BARONESS'' into some mind controlled good girl, I wouldn't have minded them trying to fix the damn thing. Cutting corners like this... they're just trying to milk the franchise to eek out a few more bucks before it dies. Pity, GI Joe could have been something good.
"Tyyr's a necessary evil. " SpiritSince you put it that way, guess you are right.
Oh, and I was very, VERY, pleased by the casting choice for Storm Shadow. Where I live, he's hailed as epitome of Badassery and Draco in Leather Pants and Stupid Sexy Flanders incarnate.

Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing. While the first movie was crap they came to the plotline, direction, visual effects, dialogue, narrative and characterisation. The film's true stars were able to provide a quality entertainment throughout most of the movie.

Contrary to popular opinion, I actually enjoyed the first film and I am really looking forwards to this one.
