"I don't believe in that Hollywood stuff you know." Mike told Rebecca. "I ain't no action hero. I just do what I'm good at."
Shinji excused himself after hearing the announcement. He ran past by and told him.
"Mike-san. We're going to dock soon near the Jolly Roger. Commander wants us to interrogate the captives."
The N261 operatives were all disarmed, but not handcuffed. Two Troopers with PD Ws held them at bay when Shinji came to interrogate them.
The towering Stone Buddha and the beach resort beneath it were clearly visible. They were back at Cheng already.

You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it.The intel came from the Americans: Apparently, they just wanted to capture Jade Wong: A lethal force response to an arrest warrant was entirely unexpected. At any rate, the Fortuna was well-known throughout Southeast Asia.
Cheng City's harbor was quite busy, as usual. Lots of nondescript cargo ships came and went full-time.
You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it.Shinji sighed.
Must be from Special Branch. I'll continue with the interrogation.
The ex-PSIA agent went to continue with the interrogation, asking the Naresuan operators if the Royal Thai Police Special Branch was the one responsible for calling the shots regarding an arrest warrant for Jade and if they were the ones responsible for the warrant.
Mike continued to sleep peacefully in his bed in the Fortuna's quarters.

The officer was cooperative: "The warrant comes from the US Coast Guard's Military Police.", he said. "Among the charges listed was desertion. According to Those Higher Up, we're obligated by treaty to surrender American deserters to US authorities.", he said with a shrug.
You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it.When Shinji went inside Igor's office, the helicopter crew was reporting to him. Igor motioned Shinji to stand by.
"I'm impressed, Comrade Voerman: You've re-engineered an Alligator to operate as a silent helicopter. You've finally pulled it off.", he said. The Danish giant grinned widely: "Thank you, comrade Petrowski: It took some work." The Russian smiled: "I know." He then looked at Marie: "T.O. Kayembe, I need a status report." Marie chuckled: "Status: Up'n'runnin!", she said. "I've slaved all guns to the Gunner's Terminal, Commander. Now the Raven can run with a crew of two."
The Commander didn't say a word: Instead, he applauded. He opened a drawer and brought a glass of vodka and four glasses. He filled the glasses, and signaled Shinji to come in. "You're back, Shinji! Did the prisoners cooperate?", he asked.
You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it."Yes, sir."
Shinji told Igor. "For one thing, they mentioned about the coast guard military police." He frowned. "They do not exist and it's most likely that the Coast Guard Investigate Service
launched the arrest warrant together with the American Navy's Master-at-Arms
and the Royal Thai Police Special Branch
. They want to arrest Jade and bring her back to American soil for leaving her post with the American Coast Guard."

Igor nodded. "Thank you, Shinji.".
He made a pause, thinking. Then, he explained: "The charge is bullshit: CTO Jade Wong resigned her commission and renounced citizenship. Yes, she kinda fled because the Investigative Service was after her intel brokering racket, that's true. But the resignation was valid, and she'd finished her term of service, so she got out." Another pause. This time, Igor lit a cigarette. "This whole scheme stinks of Langley. They wanted to force us to fight with the man in Bangkok, and they got a clean victory on that one. SOP for an arrest is to comply and then employ the appropriate bribes, threats or murders to ensure release on bail, which we then skip. Not a single Initiative employee has ever been extradited anywhere. They can't win on that route. So they bring the desertion charge: That way, Sam gets their target right into their custody. We can't allow that, so we've gotta fight. They knew it, and they screwed us over."
You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it.Igor nodded. "Back to Jolly Roger, then. I want the prisoners' physical custody to become Someone Else's Problem ASAP.". Another pause. "I don't want any trouble with Vietnamese authorities: I want you to alert Hanoi, but the whole thing will be conducted here at Cheng.", Igor ordered.
The ship slowly but surely made its way to RVI headquarters: The Jolly Roger building was an old Navy base, and it showed: The facility sprawled inside the harbor, featuring an armored naval bunker for ships and submarines. The Fortuna docked inside its slot in the main bunker. Like after every successful return to base, the frigate's loudspeakers blasted Mötorhead's Born to Raise Hell at full volume.
"We're home, guys. We made it!", Jade radioed through the PA system.

You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it.Fatima got out of the shower, dried off, wrapped herself in a towel, and returned to her quarteres. She picked a casual outfit from her closet and got herself dressed. Once that was done, she made sure all of her equipment was in order. She hadn't fired any shots in the recent incident, being occupied with her medical duties, so her pistol was fine. She made sure the iron sights were properly calibrated, and set it aside. All of her medical equipment was where it should be, and none of the drugs had expired. With all her hygienic and equipment-related concerns out of the way, she faced towards Mecca and prayed.
Shortly after she finished her prayers, she heard Lemmy's distinctive voice over the loudspeakers. They had arrived.
Life is like a game of Mahjong. Sometimes you need to take risks if you want to come out ahead.Akane walked straight into Fatima's room. She had some documents for medical staff to sign. It already had her signature and Ly Anh's. Only Fatima's remained.
"Dr. Awad, we've got to take our wounded ashore. Hans is conscious already, but he shouldn't move on his own yet. The Thai operative is unconscious but stable. There's the form authorizing transport: We've all gotta sign to get it over with now."

You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it.Akane smiled: "Miller's a tough bastard. He'll be walking around in a couple of days at most", she said. "Assuming he stays off coke for two weeks, he'll be good as new.". Akane shrugged.
"That habit of his almost killed him, anyway: If his heart had been beating at a normal rate, he wouldn't have been at the brink of bleeding out."
You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it.Four Troopers performed the transportation of the wounded, with Ly Anh checking the patients' vitals. They were transferred to Medical without further incident, with Miller giving a thumbs-up salute to the crew.
The Troopers dispersed almost instantly: Being home ashore meant paid leave. There was a range in the docks, where a bunch of freshmen Technical Officers performed Basic. A few of them smoked, already having qualified. Among them was an Irish woman around forty years old.
Instructor Dwayne Owens (Former USMC drill sergeant) walked right towards the crew, and told them: "She's TO Brianna O'Halloran. She's assigned to the Special Operations Squad of the Naval Division.", he said.
"IRA veteran, 22 years active duty, and these savages put me through Basic again.", she complained.

You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it."No." Mike replied. "I grew up in Dublin and I was with the Sciathán Fianóglach an Airm for a short time
."
Shinji later came up beside Mike.

"I'd be careful," Rebecca smirked. "Unless you have mad kung-fu skills or run around dual wielding pistols, the Asian man in the suit never makes it past the first round of bullets. Would Hollywood lie to us in matters like these?"
