Lucia looked fabulous. Even she had to say that... or rather, her outfit did. Lucia wasn't sure she could look good no matter what she wore* . She greeted Saga at the door and made her way through the people. Inevitably, she found herself next to the wall, and that girl who's name she hadn't caught.
"So... parties aren't your thing, either?" she asked Susan, smiling weakly.

It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve.Jack raised an eyebrow as he saw Lae approach, but what she said to him really got his attention. "What does our little president have to share with little old me, I wonder...?" he thought furtively, before he watched her walk off. Seeing her sneak around Saga was a very unusual sight, but he knew trying to sneak with her around Saga would be next to impossible. He waited a few moments outside the party, watching as the Lucia girl from earlier slipped inside, before trying his own luck at sneaking in.
Because simply asking was out of the question of course. Also so did seeing if he was on the list. Nope, he had to try and sneak around like a hoodlum.
Pokedy Poke-pokeIf jack was shocked before, he was nearly floored now. He simply waved at Saga as he let himself be dragged by Lae to where-ever she planned on taking him. "So, miss president... should I ask just what you have planned for me this evening?" he managed to say between being half-jogging, half-being dragged into the party area. "Or, is that some suprise you have in store for me?" He added to the end, not even noticing Susan inside the party room as well.

Pokedy Poke-poke“Yep, first day. I’m Rosalyn. But Rosa’s fine,” Kenneth seemed somewhat aloof. She couldn’t help feeling that something was off about him. He looked a bit like a vampire, with his grayish skin, but, did vampires usually walk like that? Pushing away her surely rude-if-spoken-aloud thoughts, she continued walking with him into the cafeteria.
“So,” she said, once they entered. “you are… let me guess, a junior? Sophomore?” She plucked a shiny red apple from a table laden with various fruit. “Anyway, is the food here any good?” she asked, as she absentmindedly tossed the apple back and forth between her hands. “The food at my old school was terrible. You’d think if you pay tuition the food would be better, right?”
Jack opened his mouth to say something "witty", but thought better of it as he let himself get dragged off into the secluded corner without any hesitation or resistance. He hadn't even gotten through the front door and Lae pretty much just swept him into a private room, what was he going to complain about?
Pokedy Poke-pokeLae sat in the secluded area with Jack, and slowly pulled the ziplock bad out of her pocket. In the bag was an interesting looking light-purple powder, that gave off a faint glow. Dragon dust. The cocaine of the magical world.
A knock was heard on Alice's door. It was rushed and a flurry of taps. "P-Please...open the door..."
Jack stared at the powder for a few moments, watching it glow softly. He had no idea just what it was, but he had a few slight suspicions that it was 'quality' substance. Something that was seriously expensive, and that would seriously mess with anyone who used it. "Quite the party this just turned into...!" he thought momentarily as his eyes drifted from the bag. "Damn...! How did you... ah nevermind! You gonna share, or am I gonna have to beg?" Jack quietly joked, folding his arms as he took side glances at the bag.

Pokedy Poke-pokeLae giggled at Jack's look. He really did want some. Lae wasn't sure why she decided to share her expensive stuff with Jack. She had a soft spot for him. Very rare for a drow. She carefully opened the bag, and the glowing became more prominent. She spread a bit of the dust on the small table they were kneeling against, in a line. She flared her nostrils.
"Well... Here's to a new school year!" Jack quietly toasted, raising a hand up as he dropped to a knee. He had never done anything like this before. Sure, he had smoked plenty of things he never knew existed, boiled things into a pseudo tea, hell even once tried turning them into a paste and seeing if it made any difference spread on bread* But this... this was a new experience. This was unknown territory, dark and mysterious waters for him.
And damn, did he love the thrill of hunting in those waters. He bent close to the line of powder and started inhaling it, completely unknown to exactly what the effect were going to be.
Pokedy Poke-pokeLae started at the other end of the trail, and started inhaling, meeting Jack about halfway. Dragon Dust is known for being ballbustingly good stuff, getting you in the perfect amount of High. But it isn't addictive. Just fun. Lae burst into a fit of giggling as she bent face down, her nose touching Jack's.

Alice had eventually been persuaded to go to the party by Shanghai, who had mercilessly poked, tickled, and headbutted her until she eventually gave in and went to freshen up. She didn't have many clothes on hand, so she eventually went for her old ensemble, clean and pressed as her school uniform was, her old blouse and dress from back in Gensokyo. The colors were a bit bright, pinks and sky blues and such, but it was the most formal wear that Alice had on short notice. She hoped she wouldn't stick out. At least she had the wisdom to leave Shanghai behind so it couldn't embarrass her at the party.
She was about to go on her way when somebody knocked. As with Jack, she was hesitant to open the door immediately. "Nova, is that you...?"
The person sounded extremely nervous. It was a small girl, with a high voice. "U-um...no...This isn't her...B-but...I really think you should...uh...ooooh..." The sound of shuffling could be heard, but then Alice would find a piece of paper sent under the door, and the sound of someone running away from the door. It was a note.
I've got the Native American bitch. Supply Attic of the Senior building. I hear there is a killer party going on...
Thomas entered the party in the Senior common room, plastering on the plastic smile that was beginning to become standard for him. He made small talk with a few other students before noticing someone standing stiffly in the corner.
"Good evening Sega, how are you doing?" he asked smoothly, walking over to the valkyrie enforcer.
All those ... moments will be lost... in time, like... tears... in rain.Jack finished the line as he blinked slowly, the having a slow ringing in his ears as he felt everything going on. The music had a soft beat to it, yet the bass was amazing, he felt like it was pulsing right through and around him. The lights were hypnotic as well, they changed slowly so that in his 'enlightened' state he could register them, yet at the same time he could stare at it for possibly hours and not get bored.
But none of that mattered, for his nose soon met Lae's about halfway across the table. He twitched for a moment - the ticklish feeling of noses bumping followed by her strangely appealing giggling made Jack slowly lift up his face from the table, his grin one of attempted smugness (while high, so bonus points there) and at the same time his voice took on a change in tones.*
"Well, where d'ya think your going, peel-grim?" Jack says as his eyes - although bouncing around the room slightly - meet up with Lae's.
Pokedy Poke-poke"Uh..." Alice was relieved when the girl ran away, then she checked the note. What had happened? It all seemed really suspicious. The supply attic? She had to figure out a way there. She left the dorm, locking the door after her since she had the key on her person now, and made her way to the party.

Lae made special care to sneak past Saga for some reason. Really uncommon for her. She approached Jack, and gave him a wink, and whispered in his ear. "I have something in my pocket that we both might be able to have a little fun with. We just gotta find a room to...have the fun in..." Lae drifted back, to make it look like she wasn't hiding anything.
Leanan glanced at Susan, noticing her nervousness.
