Eh, Wiggler's one of my favorite characters to play as in the spin offs, so I ain't complaining. I have no idea where the heck they pulled Queen Bee from though.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!@ Marioguy: Super Mario Galaxy.
In general: Stop whining about the character choices, please. It's nothing to get worked up over. Every game since Double Dash has some sort of "out of left field" choice. Every game. Were people expecting Petey Piranha and King Boo in Double Dash? What about the friggin' Robotic Operating Buddy in DS? How about Funky Kong in Wii? Nothing will come out of decrying something so inane, so just stop it.
That being said, how would those two fit into a kart? They're both easily about 5-10x the size of Mario.
"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarMini Mushrooms, perhaps?
"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarFair enough, but I think it's rather silly to say that I shouldn't be allowed to express my dislike for the character choices. I mean, just because they've done this "out of left field" character choices deal before, doesn't mean I should accept it every time.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows."Expecting waluigi? TOO BAD INSECT TIME!"
.... I thought you said .... something else
anyway Wiggler I understand even it is a little out there, the Bee however I only would understand if they're doing double kart again and she's Wigglers partner

With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.I am just hoping the item distribution will be more balanced. Nothing irritated me more than seeing Spiny Shells being given to people who were in freaking 5th place in Mario Kart Wii!
Does anyone want to place their bets on what the next Game-Breaker will be for this game? DS had snaking, Wii had wheelie spam...
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.X 2 X: I'm aware of the game she came from. I'm asking where the heck they suddenly got the idea to include her. It just kinda puzzles me. Besides, no one's really whining about character choices here. They're expressing their dislike for them. And what Komodin said. Yeesh, don't get so worked up.

You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!@ Steven: For some reason, I'm half-expecting the hang gliders to be used in a context similar to space flying from F-Zero GX.
@ Marioguy: I'm actually pretty chill, y'know. I just don't have a tolerance for something so trivial. To dislike to a character is perfectly fine, but from the way things looked, all I could see was a general lukewarm reception and no rationale behind it. It'd be nice to justify your reasons for it so that it doesn't come across as blind hatred for the sake of blind hatred.

"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarYeah, I imagine it being a "once-per-round" sort of deal.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Have know Idea I never played F Zero
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.@ Random: In GX, there was an option to create custom vehicles. Given the usage of certain parts, this led to craft that were lightweight and able to stay in the air for extended periods of time using the physics engine. Players used these custom machines to "fly" around in the air and hit invisible "checkpoints", which resulted in some ridiculous world records for Time Trial.
I honestly don't expect the hang gliders to function like that, as I'm pretty sure F-Zero GX and Mario Kart utilize different physics engines.
"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarBaby steps, my friend. Maybe in the next game? It'd be cool to see, though, seeing as it'd be pretty similar in execution to Diddy Kong Racing.
"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarFrom what I saw in the trailers, I don't think the gliders in this Mario Kart will function like in F-Zero. I think they will just make players fall slower and trying to maintain a flying status would be pretty difficult. As for trying to glide for invisible checkpoints? Let's just hope Nintendo puts up invisible walls on the sides or actual walls.

I didn't think so either, but you never know. It always takes a bit of time for pros to discover all of those Good Bad Bugs and Game Breaking Bugs.
Pretty much, yeah. I stopped playing Mario Kart DS online when snaking became such BS (even though I could do it well myself I still hated it) and everyone in Mario Kart Wii playing nothing but Daisy and Funky Kong whoring out wheelies.

Wiggler woot! Idk who Queen Bee is
