Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Agent Carter was a fantastic expansion of the character. Reminded me very much of the Marvel One Shot that had her.
Which reminds me- is that even canon anymore?
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.
Source?
So, we at least know Peggy kept her job. Her same, boring, sexist job but still better than going to jail.
Also I'm wondering when Bradley Whitford will appear, considering if the one shot is canon.

Yeah, I'm getting a Bruce-Terry-Powers vibe from Pym-Lang-Cross.
If for some reason you were doubting that the daughter is Cassie.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectIt'd be funny if complains about how other characters get all the cool Animal-Themed Superbeing names but he gets stuck with the Ant.
Holy cow, that teaser is perfect. I'm getting really excited for this. Seems like we've gotten oddly little promotional info about it, though...
An article on the Ant-Man prequel book about Cold War-era Hank Pym
. And apparently there will be an Age of Ultron prequel about Loki's scepter.
I'm assuming you live in a country where dates are written in a rational manner?
Anyways, with the new release date being about 2 months before the old one, I'll have to assume the events of Daredevil don't tie in with the events of Age of Ultron after all. That may of been part of the reason they are bumping up the release date, it might of just been a case where they weren't sure they'd have it done before May and didn't want to risk delaying it.

Trailer was fine. Not awesome, just fine. Look, after Blue Swede and a freaking Hulkbuster, its hard to follow up when it comes to Marvel Trailers... I'll probably go see it anyways, cause I for one want to see more niche superheroes getting movies.
