Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

One arrow refers to the post above you. Two arrows refers to two posts above you.
They'd probably at least use someone in stand in stuff for Hulk and Iron Man if they were there.
Yeah not everyone in that scene is (Hawkeye and Nat's implied opponents), but Cap's is.
The Avengers are actually bad guys

@Wanderlustwarrior a few pages back. Yes, pretty much. Maybe Uncle Ben just wasn't around in this continuity.

I can just assume what you're responding to, but it'd be easier if you linked to the post in question.
Welcome to the Uncanny Valley, Thor. Enjoy your stay.
I can see how Black Widow looks furthest from her counterpart.
So Hawkeye gets special arrowhead holsters, and Hulk gets... special pants?

As long as they didn't beat him to the pimpslap.
Aww, I wasn't even the first one on this page, but I'm getting some sense knocked into me?
But in all seriousness, domestic abuse is NOT funny. Never Live It Down is kinda humorous, but fine I'll stop.

Okay we're at the point where you have long since run the domestic abuse joke into the ground. It hasn't gotten any funnier since you tried the same lame gag a few pages back.
That's because the poster in question doesn't try the same dumb joke every time the character is mentioned, to my knowledge.

I don't do it every time! But you do it a couple of times, and you Never Live It Down...
Steven DeKnight
talks a bit about Daredevil. He says it's the "exact opposite" of the Ben Affleck movie and then confirms that yes, Daredevil will eventually transition to the red suit.

That doesn't gel with the statements of Banner being involved in it. Also if that was the Vision i doubt they'd show it in the first trailer of all places.
