Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Thanos and Eros being Eternals does confuse me. If the main group we followed were actually synthetic beings made by steampunk automaton gods for some higher purpose, then how are those two also Eternals, while also being able to live their own lives on their home planet?
In the case of the Titan Eternals, their existence came from Mentor wanting to create a race of Eternals born from natural conception, not artifical creation like the regular Eternals
So the primary difference with Thanos and Eros is that they were born naturally through birth by a mother instead of being made in a factory by machine Gods.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."If Thanos is an Eternal, that means he was a robot build by a Celestial whose job was to cultivate Titan as a buffet for an infant Celestial. That's some fucking posthumous context, isn't it? @.@ He's basically Space Ultron, built to simultaneously save and destroy worlds, and creating a cockamamie attempt at a political theory to try and rationalize these contradictory objectives.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.If Thanos is ugly Kuja then I wonder who our Necron is. Or our Zidane, for that matter.
So, let's hang an anchor from the sun... also my Tumblr![]()
Well, Necron is a tacked-on final boss and kinda bullshit so I'd guess...the Avengers?
They just came out of nowhere, inventing time travel to screw him over, personally. Carol being Carol and Steve's sudden hammer mastery probably made a little more irate then usual as well.
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position. It should also be noted that Mentor was a rebel by Eternals standards like Druig.
The whole Eternals making their own life was a very controversial thing and was only allowed after Mentor seceded from the main group to create his own Eternals society.
So absolutely nothing about Thanos and Eros is natural even by Eternals standards.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Idiots who only really only know Wanda through that Story That Shall Not Be Named That Daenerys'd Her.
Okey Dokey!I am assuming from this poster
that we will be seeing variants not just of Doctor Strange, but also for Wanda.
I'm actually thinking that the leaks about Wanda going full villain are referring to a villain variant of Wanda, and the Wanda we've been following for the last six years will still be a good guy.
Okey Dokey!Yes, I have been hearing that Wanda would be the villain, but honestly, it doesn't fit with the trailer or character arc. That said, her doing something accidentally, I'm good with that. You've got to give the prise to the animators, it's just incredible.
Sincerely S Awatching.
