Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

It's almost like Cooper should get some sort of role to allow him to act on set with the others. It's like how Paul Bettany enjoyed playing Vision more than voicing JARVIS.

Okey Dokey!I think Cooper and Diesel get plenty of credit for their roles voice-wise. I think if anything Sean Gunn doesn't get as much credit for providing the physicality of Rocket.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."So re-watching Endgame, and I just realized another reason why Thor was so angry at himself.
It wasn't just his choice to not go for the head.
Remember that part where everyone is taking a shot at Thanos and he's just curbstomping them all, while Wanda is being forced to destroy the Mind Stone?
Where was Thor during that scene? Most likely, he was still mopping up what remained of Thanos' army and missed Cap's call for them to gather.
Considering he was, for a moment, able to overpower Thanos even with all the stones, if he'd been there a few seconds earlier, he might have been able to stop the Titan before he even got the mind stone, or distracted him long enough to prevent the rewinding of time.
So man, Thor fucked up hardcore.
One Strip! One Strip! In fairness he didn’t have a comm device
Won’t stop him from blaming himself though
Forever liveblogging the AvengersIt wasn't universal, it had fans and it sold well.
And then Jeff Parker took over and won over some of the people that initially hated the character.
In any case an MCU Red Hulk would be different from Loeb's take and maybe take what worked from Parker's run.

Like, we should have known that after they bothered with Civil War.
All any character or plot needs is someone willing to put in the effort to make it work.
One Strip! One Strip! They're the same person. The reason his second Red Hulk form had his iconic stache was because by that point his identity was already known to the readers.
The main reason he didn't have his stache in his original Red Hulk form was to keep his identity a secret during that first run.
Disgusted, but not surprisedGamma glass
They make you look gamma badass

"I'm Mr. Blue, woah-woah-ooh..."Jeph Loeb did the same amount of shilling in his Wolverine Run towards Romulus.
And also over at DC towards Hush. Guy just loves his original characters. (Even though in Rulk's case it ended up being an altered existing one)
Certified: 48.0% West Asian, 6.5% South Asian, 15.8% North/West European, 15.7% English, 7.4% Balkan, 6.6% ScandinavianLoeb's writing faculties tanked hard in the early 00's and never recovered, with the "shilling of a random OC villain nobody particularly liked" being a constant symptom. No one quite knows why he went to the gutter so suddenly (keeping in mind he wrote The Long Halloween and Dark Victory, two of Batman's most acclaimed stories to this day) but it is generally assumed to have been at leeast partly fallout from the death of his son due bone cancer in 2005.
He's also notoriously terrible with writing minorities, something brought to the fore in the behind-the-scenes of DD and IF where apparently Loeb activly suggested no one write about asians because "no on gives a fuck about asian people" (according to actor Peter Shinkoda).

"All you Fascists bound to lose."

According to Gunn Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper have never been on set
. Why bother cozying up when you can just sneak away with the bag?
