Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

I don't think the response should be to rag on the theater industry in response to shitty fans. Especially that of another country. Endgame was super hyped and did not elicit that sort of reaction.
If you think it'll be so bad, there are ways to avoid spoilers? Block words on Twitter, don't look on Reddit, maybe stay off Facebook. It's not that hard.
The cast of No Way Home is reacting to a new trailer... one that we'll get to see tomorrow, apparently.
My musician pageKind of insane how much weight Jacob Batalon ever since his first appearance.
I've also been considering what it would be like if Ned became the Hobgoblin. I don't know much about the comic character, but something really bad must have to happen in that film if that were to happen. The big question is whether Ned would take up the mantle by choice, or if he's forced into villainy somehow. Maybe Norman's goblin serum?
Also, did anyone hear the mentioning of a "gator"?
"I'm Mr. Blue, woah-woah-ooh..."Well, we did kinda see the Lizard in the first trailer.

Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonBtw, do you think Hawkeye deserves its own discussion forum or will we be discussing it here? I'm bringing it up because early reactions have come out. Opinions seem to be more or less positive regarding the series with most of the praise being on Hailee Steinfeld for her portrayal of Kate Bishop.

The Final NameUncle Ben will finally show up and take his proper place in the MCU-then he'll get killed and his memory wiped away by the newest villain, Sony-Man, and replaced with Uncle Ken.

I know it's normal, but that doesn't make it any less dumb. Especially for movies like these where they're going to be a very popular topic, and a lot of people would really like to avoid spoilers.
