Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Here if you want it.
I'll note I have also seen a version with the Raimi mask, and for the life of me I can't tell which one came first.

Yeah say what you will about the leaks (you certainly have
) but they're filling a content drought. At least with Eternals no one really knew what it was about (deliberately) so people were largely content stewing over trying to understand all the new characters. NWH's general concept has been "Hollywood's worst-kept secret" for nearly a year and we've officially got barely anything.

Hey. So. If anyone was wanting to dive into Spider-Man: No Way Home spoiler-free, y'all might want to back away from Twitter and Reddit and social media in general. Because there are some huge things running around no thanks to a guy named John Campea thinking he was invincible.
Seriously. Don't dig around Twitter.
(But if you want to really know, then maybe I might consider spilling via PM.)
All I can say is holy cow, man...
Jesus Sony, get your shit together. Why is it this hard to keep information on one of your biggest movies from leaking out onto the internet? I know you're probably still recovering from 2014, but still. This is getting embarrassing.
Side note, I haven't looked at the leaks, but I keep seeing random names trend in the sidebar. Which is...ominous to say the least.
Also wait, who's John Champea?

"I'm Mr. Blue, woah-woah-ooh..."Grain of salt aside, the table meeting picture was teased in an earlier excerpt
◊ of the Empire Magazine article for NWH. Some people also rationalize that background details like the bookcase practically the same, though at a different angle, from our only official trailer.

It should be noted that if the pictures are fake then they're very very well-done fakes. The Spider-Men pic has very solid and consistent lighting and the table pic has a lot of matching/working elements that would need to be presumably faked. Not saying whether it's real or not, but if it's not whoever made them did A+ work.
It should also be noted that Campea clearly thought they were real, despite his more recent tweets. There's no reason for him to watermark them if he thought they were fanmade. He's a noteworthy critic, and his behavior lines up with someone backpedaling out of fear that the heat will kill his access among other things.
Ya know I actually feel bad for Quill. Like no one ever says Star Lord, they always say it ironically, sarcastically, or just plain mispronounce it for whatever reason.
I mean its a callsign and its a big universe, I'm not sure why people have such a hard time calling him by his codename.
