Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Given that this is supposed to be the final MCU Spider-Man movie before Sony takes him back, I can't help but wonder if these multiversal shenanigans are going to provide some sort of in-universe rationale for Tom Holland's Spider-Man crew to be shunted off into a Sony 'verse.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Makes me wonder what would happen if the bit in the old Iron Man 1 script that revealed Tony built Doc Ock's arms was actually in the final product.
Would take that Iron Man creates villains up to eleven.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Yeah, you really felt each blow. And you felt how much pure hatred there was during this fight.
It wasn't clean or "cool", it was a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown, from both sides.

This one for example is still one of the most emotional ones I have ever seen in a Superhero flick, period. And it's without any spoken words, to boot.
He did actually carry a sack or two away in the end, if I remember correctly. And maybe all the parts just weren't available to steal in New York.

I love the train fight scene as much as anyone else. But me being a Rail Enthusiast, I have a hard time shaking off the whole fact that they're clearly in Chicago, not New York. Case

Okey Dokey!

I thought the reason Doctor Strange meddled with the multiverse was because he got distracted by Peter’s objections and thus split the timeline.
The legend has returned.
