Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Spider-Man stinks and I don’t like him.

The legend has returned.![]()
Don't forget his brother Ted Raimi, who was also in the Raimi trilogy as Jameson's beleaguered assistant Hoffman (and cowardly sidekick Joxer in Xenia the warrior princess):

"All you Fascists bound to lose."Whoa, just occurred to me that meme with the three Spider-Man meeting each other will potentially become an Ascended Meme.
Also, this film needs a gag where J.J. Jameson sees all the Spider-Man and just has a heart attack from the sight.
Like creepy stories? Check out my book!Oh shit. The pointing meme. That's gonna be nuts.
Yeah, they have to do it. It's too good an opportunity to miss.
One Strip! One Strip! If they’re adapting memes I say adapt the one where Miles Morales crosses over and discovers MJ is Zendaya’s Variant.

Yeah, one more appearance in a non-Spidey movie. Which begs the question, do we have any thoughts on what that non-Spidey movie could be? For some reason I'm thinking it's either Multiverse of Madness (because multiverse and also Sam Raimi) or Fantastic Four (because Jon Watts and also there was that one time Peter tried to be a member of the F4 or something. I know it was a signature issue in an F4 comic).
It could be anything, since Marvel seems a lot more happy with sticking characters into other characters' movies now. He could be returning the favor with Dr. Strange, he could be in Fantastic 4, hell they could have him show up in The Marvels as Kamala's nerdy superheroing buddy or something.

I heard they considered putting him in the finale to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but I'm not sure how that would've worked out.
Speaking of Kamala, does anyone else expect she’ll get added into the seemingly inevitable Young Avengers movie/series, given the remaining Champions are nowhere to be seen, and fairly unlikely to appear in the near future?
Also, I keep seeing people all over the internet saying No Way Home is adapting One More Day, which was selling Peter’s marriage to Mephisto for Aunt May’s life, when One Moment in Time exists and was literally Dr Strange using a spell to make everyone forget Peter’s identity. I know One More Day is better known (and did retcon out the secret identity thing), but come on

They should adapt Doc Sampson and then use the excuse of adaptation to make him a good therapist
