Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

If there exists a pair of British guys from the original comics, have Stephen Fry in there with Laurie.
Like creepy stories? Check out my book!since it looks like they're adapting One Day More I'm hoping Mephisto shows up somewhere, hell I'm kind of hoping Mephisto is impersonating Dr.Strange here, that would be a really clever twist,on the other hand I get that the infamy that surrounds that story means disgarding most of the source material in favour of something better
have a listen and have a link to my discord serverThat just gives me the amusing mental image of them stopping Thanos the "wrong" way only for the TVA to bust in like the Monty Python cops and declare the whole thing "too silly" for the Sacred Timeline.

Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonIf you think about it it makes a lot of sense
The “Sacred Timeline” is the one that leads to He Who Remains. If the Avengers had beaten Thanos on Titan or in Wakanda or if some charming space rogue talked him out of his plans early, that means the Avengers would never invent time travel for the time heist
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThat's not such a crazy idea. Like, the Arc reactor tech is based on the Tesseract right? So it stands to reason that even if you don't have the Time Stone anymore, maybe there's still a way to create the same effect without it.
One Strip! One Strip!
That was one of the many arguments why Mephisto could not be the solution to the Clone Saga, and why he should never have been considered the solution to Spider-Man's 'problems' in 2007
The writers won their argument in 1996, they didn't win it against Joey Q

Oh it was infamous. Joe Quesada went on record saying that it won't be undone by a Magic Retcon, when no two words are more appropriate (as stated by This Very Wiki a couple of years ago).
You can only write so much in your forum signature. It's not fair that I want to write a piece of writing yet it will cut me off in the midFinally saw Black Widow (2021). I'm confused with the resources and personnel related to the Red Room.
The movie tends to treat the Red Room and HYDRA as separate but considering how the Red Room in 2016 is a floating fortress reminiscent of the Helicarrier, how exactly are HYDRA and the Red Room supposed to be separate?
