Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Yeah again as a lot of people point out. With the exception of horrifying stories like Maximum clonage. Most of clone saga stories are mediocre or average.
It's only the extreme delays and constant waits that people had to go through that made the story infamous and that's not possible to experience now as we have the whole thing.

"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."I found the Ultimate Spider-Man the comics version of the Clone Saga not very good either. I understand I'm in the minority here but while the 616 Clone Saga 2 went on far too long, trying to ultimate-ify it by squeezing it into the Standard Arc Length and having it happen in like one evening, having Doc Ock become generic brand Magneto (and then die in his next appearance so it doesn't result in much), have MJ get powers and then lose them despite the OZ formula being supposedly untreatable, and having Peter respond to the government cloning him by pledging his loyalty to Fury if he allows him to beat the shit out to Doc Ock is all really unenjoyable. It had almost as much crap as the 616 Clone Saga, just squeezed into eight issues with Bendis decompression is just bad. It introduces several Spider clones and then does basically nothing with them except Spider-Woman who is both Jessica Drew and Julia Carpenter meaning those characters weren't used in Ultimate at all. It just comes off as a mess to me. Its too dense, none of it gets to breathe sufficiently.
Forever liveblogging the Avengers

Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Speaking of Spider-Man..

A new set photo showing Spider-Man meeting Dr. Strange. Also can someone explain to me what FEAST is? Some on twitter were going crazy about it
Feast is a concept from the Playstation 4 Spiderman game.
It's a charity that Aunt May is a part of, and it recently crossed over into the main comic universe. They might be planning to bring it into the MCU as well.

One Strip! One Strip!F.E.A.S.T precedes the game. It was introduced as Aunt May's charity linked with Mr. Negative's organization way back in 2008. I imagine it'll just be a Mythology Gag though considering the number of villains we already have in this film.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."My big fear is that the sheer number will make the film have issues with pacing and too much going on like what happened in the other final spider man film series. So fingers crossed that they pace them like winter soldier was able to .
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."

Not to mention the context is kinda lost since we didn't see the whole thing drag on and grow out of control as it did.
