Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

It's rumor time, yet again.
Speaking of Ghost Rider, Norman Reedus has expressed interest in the role if it does get cast
.

A Ghost Rider series would probably be obligated to give us the final, definitive answer as to the canonicity of Agents. Even if it's Johnny and not Robbie, since Johnny appeared in a flashback in Agents.
Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonFunnily enough, Gabriel Luna also said
he wanted Reedus in the role.
Frankly though, just bring both of them into it. Gabriel Luna deserves another chance.
Norman Reedus has more of a Danny Ketch vibe to me. So you could even go nuts here and put Norman Reedus as Danny Ketch, Gabriel Luna as Robbie Reyes and Nicolas Cage returning as Johnny Blaze.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."I will throw money on Feige's desk to make this happen.
Of course, I'm broke, so it wouldn't do much, but still!
So, based on the set leaks of the new Black Panther movie
, I've got a feeling that a funeral is going to be held for T'Challa.

He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.Reading its page
, its like a Nick Fury lead team so super spy stuff along with superpowered teenagers.
Huh apparently Agents of Shield did take great influence from it, especially in its third season. Daisy Johnson is one of the main characters and characters like Hellfire, Slingshot, and Hive that appeared on the show stem from SW.
"The main Secret Warriors team is lead by Daisy Johnson, with backup in the form of James Taylor "J.T." James A.K.A. Hellfire, a chain-wielding pyrokinetic, akin to Ghost Rider; Yo-Yo Rodruigez A.K.A. Slingshot, a speedster; Alexander Aaron A.K.A Phobos, the "little boy god of fear", as J.T. put it; "Stonewall" Jerry, the son of the Absorbing Man, with all of his powers; and Sebastian Druid A.K.A Druid. Mutant teleporter Eden Fesi joins the team shortly after their first mission against HYDRA."
Huh pretty crazy cast of characters.

I've seen a lot of controversy regarding the decision not to recast T'Challa. Because yes, while there are a lot of people who consider the idea of recasting him to be an insult to his legacy, I've also seen a number of people who argue that not recasting him is an insult to his legacy, particularly with killing him off and using another character to uphold the mantle. So if there is going to be a funeral for T'Challa, I can only wonder how everyone is going to react.

He's the only Ultimate character other than Miles to have actually made the transition to 616.
Also Ultimate Mjolnir but sadly that got destroyed and is now Jane Foster's weapon band.
