Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Better Hydra than France
"Loki providing a "way" for Agents of Shield to hypothetically be canon doesn't make it canon, though."
Specially since Ao S was made to explain some scenes like fury showing up with a new shinny helicarrier out of nowhere in Ao U, now that the show isnt canon, it kinda sorta introdce a plothole.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"I will never stop laughing at the sheer bizarreness that Ultimate Steve is such a profoundly boring boyfriend that Janet felt compelled to go talk to Hank behind his back.
Because while Hank may have abused her for years and almost killed her on several occasions, at least she can have a conversation with him.
Captain America people, such a dull drab lug of a boyfriend that you feel compelled to go back to your abusive ex.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Actually what makes the whole Janet thing even worse is that Steve actually makes it about him.
When he confronts Janet about it, he actually complains more about how the whole thing makes him look and how humiliating it is to have your girlfriend run back to her abusive ex when she's having "prime American beef."
He is a total White Knight asshole.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yeah its more he heard they made Fury look like him and so he liked it so much he called up to Marvel so they can cast him whenever they put Fury in a movie.
Its not really related to Ultimate Fury's character or actions committed within the comic where is a manipulative motherfucker.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."He also constantly gets out played and manages to stay on top only because of all the superheroes he gets to bail him out
He’s not the master manipulator he says he is
Forever liveblogging the AvengersPersonality wise MCU nick fury is much closer to his 616 version.
Which uh is true off most of the ultimate. They initially used the updated designs and costumes but cut the abhorsnt stuff.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Looks like Tom Rothman gets to keep his hands on Spidey as he has extended his contract
with Sony.
....he kinda sorta became a super villain actually.
Called the Maker and all that.
One Strip! One Strip!

Hydra Cap was less cartoonishly evil than Ultimate Cap.
The legend has returned.
