Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Victoria Alonso, vice president of Marvel Studios' film production, claims the company is building an animation branch
to expand their reach in the medium.
Furthermore, she discusses related topics regarding the MCU. These include greater focus on characters downplayed in the main films (WandaVision), and general representation in super hero media (speaking as a gay woman herself in the industry).
Alright. First order of business, steal Spectacular Spiderman from Sony and pick up where they left off.
Then restart Earth's Mighties Heroes.
....throw in X-Men Evolution as well....no wait. That one is WB....er....CW....whatever they're called.
.....or maybe I should stop insisting on bringing back old shows I like.....then again, it is kinda a thing these days.
One Strip! One Strip! That I'd be ok with.
Maybe one day, we'll get an adaptation of God Loves, Man Kills....without Kitty's violation of N-Word Privileges.
Because seriously, she needed to get slapped upside the head for that, no matter what point she was trying to make.
One Strip! One Strip!I still say that the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon was the last good marvel cartoon.
Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadThe way I read the announcement, the animation studio would be a subsidiary of Marvel Studios, so anything they produce will be MCU stuff, for good or ill.
x3 For me it'd be season one of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, or Spectacular Spider-Man.
Armored Adventures is definitely on D+.

Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes needs a revival desperately. One of Marvel's greatest shows, yet it was done dirty in the end so they could replace it with the embodiment of laziness and apathy.

: Charlie Cox got pulled from an appearance in Celebrity Fan Fest due to "last minute filming schedule changes."
Now everyone is suspecting that this is because of Spider-Man: No Way Home because that movie is currently going through reshoots.
Lovely thought, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Too late. I'm sure many people are miles ahead of where they need to be right now based on that information.
I never cease to be amazed by fan's ability to jump through hopes with the barest of information.

I give it 10.
