Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Good, I didn't want them too anyway. I'm still bitter about Big Hero Six beating out The LEGO Movie that year in the oscars. In all seriousness, it was a good movie, but I think The Iron Giant did it better. (Not a perfect one to one there, but close enough).

You can only write so much in your forum signature. It's not fair that I want to write a piece of writing yet it will cut me off in the mid![]()

Well, blast.
In retrospect, there was already some skepticism from the start. Besides, I think I saw some people trying to force Agents of Atlas members into a hypothetical MCU version of BH6, which seems rather, well, forced IMO.
We're at that point where if Marvel Studios wanted the Agents of Atlas, they could just go ahead and put in the Agents of Atlas.
That said, someone on Reddit suggested establishing some of BH6 members like Hiro and Baymax via Ironheart or Armor Wars, which I thought was genius, but I guess it's now moot.
Ah, well. As you were, true believers.

We have the official title for Spider-Man 3, Phone Home!
..... or Home Wrecker?
Anyway,first official pics.
Nah guys, Zendaya herself
said it's "Home Slice" with a brand new film still.
Quite the campaign they're running here, huh?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and suspect that both "Home-Wrecker" and "Phone Home" are red herrings, much like how Civil War was initially revealed as Serpent Society all those years ago...
"Home Slice"? Not even sure where'd that phrase comes from...
Fun with titles aside, the screenshots are giving the impression that Peter, Ned, and MJ are still reeling from Mysterio's final gambit and figuring out...something. Might the backgrounds provide a clue?

Alright, now Tom and Jacob are trying to crack this title mystery
by talking straight to Jon Watts himself!
So...stay home and stay tuned?
And now to join in on the joke:
One Strip! One Strip!

According to Variety
, Big Hero 6 is not coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe after confirming with "the studio".
Keep in mind that the original source, The Disinsider, has a shaky track record with getting leaks right, so it should have always been taken with a grain of salt.
In fact, they were also the same site to push the "Jennifer Lawrence as Sue Storm" rumor too.
