Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

I agree Doctor Strange is a pretty bottom rung Marvel work, though it has some bits here and there that I can look back fondly on, namely the whole Dormammu scene. Nothing all that great or substantive, just some moments that make me go "oh yeah, I guess that's neat" and push it just that little bit above Hulk. Which I don't even hate and find no real reason to hate, it's just the most nothing of the lot. The stuff I've only seen once I only really saw out of completionist's sake, though I'd gladly watch Winter Soldier again.
Self-serious autistic trans gal who loves rock/metal and animation with all her heart. (she/her)I probably missed commenting during discussion, but has anyone else watched the first two episodes of WandaVision?
Yes, and it has its own discussion thread here

I assure you, I'm perfectly trustable personAt long last, we got on-set photos
of Tom Holland for The Untitled Spider-Man Threequel!
You'll notice that they ever so slightly updated the Upgraded Suit (aka the red and black suit from FFH, which is called the "Upgraded Suit" in the Spider-Man game for PS4). The FFH suit initially had black bits in the belt region. The Upgraded Suit in the SM3 suit has those black bits filled out with red.
I fully expect this film to end with The Ramones cover of the Spider Man theme. You don’t have the Ramones do two end songs without that being the end.

I did, but that was because Guitar Hero used it for Warriors of Rock (as part of Johnny Napalm's song set).

That's like, a real old one. I think it's from the late 90's.
I remember it was in the credits for the first Sony Spider Man movie.
I'm surprised you've never heard it before.
One Strip! One Strip!More breadcrumbs regarding Spider-Man 3.
It's a newsstand. The most prominent pieces is an "I Believe" poster featuring Mysterio (boooo) and another smaller poster reading "Citizens Defend Spidey."
All those "missing children" posts... There's too many of them for them not to mean something, I think.
Any Marvel villains known for kidnapping children? The only ones I can think of are Nanny and the Orphanmaker of all people.

Well, then he's totally justified in whatever he does.
That damn Tony Stark, causing so many deaths (via villains trying to kill him). Even in death, he's a troublemaker.

In universe or out of universe?
Cause like, of course nobody in universe liked Inferno. That was some freaky ass shit.
Hobgoblin 2 especially hates Inferno, what with the whole possessed by a demon thing.

TBH I only really rewatch the climax of Strange and maybe the chase in the Mirror Dimension.
