Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Insert gif here of Walter from The Muppets screaming.
So glad to hear about Ironheart, and that's a nice idea of having the Secret Invasion plotline with Fury and Talos, as presumably that would mean there's both heroic and villainous Skrulls in this take on the story.
I must say for all of the faults of Fan4stic, I liked the idea of a black man who adopted a white child, since that is extremely rare in real life, and I just thought that's interesting territory that's rarely looked over. Still I'd have no problem with a black Johnny and Sue.
You can only write so much in your forum signature. It's not fair that I want to write a piece of writing yet it will cut me off in the midHoly mackerel, a lot to process.
Let's see:
- They will NOT recast T'Challa? Huh. Yeah, I guess it was bound to happen. Though who will the next one be is anyone's guess, I suppose?
- The Nick Fury show is INDEED Secret Invasion? Sweet.
- Disney+ shorts featuring Groot and a Guardians holiday special by James Gunn? Who saw THAT coming?
- Ironheart really is happening? Look at that.
- Armor Wars show starring WAR MACHINE? COOL.
- Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania?! With Kang confirmed? They had me at "Quantumania"!
- AND THEY ALREADY CONFIRMED A FANTASTIC 4 MOVIE? With Spider-Man's Jon Watts?! I'll be goddamned!

Might we see Spidey?
