Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Interestingly enough Overman is the most redeemable of the Mastermen.
He actually recognizes that the Nazi empire he built is wrong and deserves to be torn down unlike his teammates who don't give a fuck and enjoy the lap of luxury they live in.
Comparatively Overman is an OG Nazi while the rest of the Mastermen were born long after the Nazis victory in WWII.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."From Poe Dameron to Apocalypse to Miguel O'Hara, Oscar Issac is now in negotiations to join the MCU as Moon Knight!

Hey, if Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter
say it's Oscar Isaac, then it's pretty much 95% set in stone, yeah?
Also, totally forgot he was Apocalypse...but then that didn't turn out so well, did it?
Isaac is a good choice in my opinion.

Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadMaybe he meant he was done with Disney star wars. Not Disney marvel.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."> As I mentioned a bit before in regards to Mulan, those are two different studios after all. He wouldn't be working for or with the same people.
You are correct in that it's different studio (Marvel) with different people but its still owned by Disney,it really depends on how much influence Disney has there
have a listen and have a link to my discord serverI imagine Disney as a ruling body gives little influence as long as the end result is profitable. So far, since Feige's ascension Disney's primary meddling with Marvel has been "we want this to be a headlining series" vs "we want this to be a side series, and for you to focus your attention elsewhere," and those decisions were already made regardless of Isaac's involvement.
Over the last couple of years, I've noticed Walt Disney Studios (let alone the Walt Disney Company) is increasingly hands off unless they're forced to intervene in what their individual moving parts are doing. That's not the case for the animated stuff, which is where they put most of their direct meddling into, but stuff like Star Wars and Marvel they mostly just put mandates on ahead of time and then let make money.

If Oscar Isaac turns out to be Moon Knight, the man's gonna be super busy between that and being the protagonist of Dune.
Except Isaac's character in Dune isn't the main character. That would be Paul Atreides, who is played by Timothée Chalamet.

52 featured an alternate universe with a Nazi Superman
though he did pull a Heel–Face Turn later.
Make of that what you will. I'm still not sure what to think of it myself.
