Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

I think Ta-Nehisi Coates had a map of Wakanda and neighboring countries in the beginning of his run, but I think the extent to which we know about Wakanda's capital in the comics is that it's near the Royal Necropolis.
EDIT: Here's the map.

I actually thought the same about a Black Panther game back when Black Panther was released. You could have the royal palace as your hub, character customization and leveling up being Shuri's upgrades, multiple cosmetic suits as Shuri's different designs, maybe the Royal Talon as a summonable air back-up and secondary hub.
To differentiate from the usual Batman/Spider-Man affair you could have gameplay aspects of simulating BP's role as King and politicking with the Council of Elders, maintaining citizenship morale and whatnot, so if you're viewed as a good King the people receive you well (and maybe even help you as mobs during fights) or if you're a bad one people throw rocks at you in the streets (and might occasionally fight you). As I joked back then.

"All you Fascists bound to lose."Okey I read that map and...is pretty damn good, I like the idea that nigerian seen wakanda rise not for their vibranium but by sizing territories for them and now impact their relation, it make feel wakanda as more real and it actually show their complexities.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"That's not Nigeria, it's Niganda
, a fictional country.

Probably something like "you had all this super-advanced tech all this time and you didn’t bother to stage a humanitarian invention when we were in trouble from [x event]? Smh".
So, let's hang an anchor from the sun... also my TumblrSo Feige and Marvel as a whole were unaware of Boseman's illness.
Boseman was confident to overcome it and was ready to start his physical work to recover muscle mass in September.
That article also mentions he intended to be involved in "What If?" So does that mean he never got to?
Like creepy stories? Check out my book! This is extra sad indeed.
Whatever your favourite work is, there is a Vocal Minority that considers it the Worst. Whatever. Ever!.Man marvel will really need to think what their going to do now. Seems that this is one case where their are no easy answers on what to do because of how unexpected and sudden his death was.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Ideally, Marvel Studios should reunite with Chadwick Boseman's family and friends after the dust settles to discuss what's to be done with the Black Panther series after this in a manner that's most respectful to Boseman's legacy.
Now, from what I gathered of Boseman's opinions in life, it seems to me that the best route would be to continue the franchise with Shuri taking up the mantle (as Boseman seemed extremely proud of the role Black Panther had for the African and African-descended communities around the world and was all-in in wanting to see it flourish further, particularly with the recent events), but ultimately I feel that decision should lie with his family and friends (including his friends that made the movie, of course), but who knows.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."Yeah, it's probably not the best time to try and figure out what direction to take the series, especially considering how many are still reeling from his death. And with the MCU as a whole being on hiatus due to COVID-19, there isn't really a rush to plan that far ahead.
I'm not sure what's the best way to handle this. It's a tragic loss that blindsided everyone. Hopefully, Marvel will find a way that will honour both Boseman's legacy and be respectful to his loved ones. But that will happen in due time.

It'd be really interesting if we got a game that mapped out Wakanda's capital in the same way a game like Spider-Man maps out NY or other urban transveral games map out other fiction cities.
I don't think there's ever been something that dedicated itself to fully mapping out a design for Wakanda and its cites.
