Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

When you move at exactly the speed of light, your mass becomes infinite unless you had no mass to begin with.
Faster than light, mass becomes imaginary. As in it's a multiple of the square root of (-1).
Ukrainian Red Cross(*reads "Bounding into Comics"*)
Humorous overreactions aside, I would not advise linking anything from Bounding into Comics. In the spectrum of reliable insiders, they're pretty much rock bottom.
Also, Mikey Sutton is a crackpot with a capital "C". No use paying attention to what he says.

Here's a six minute video on the subject from a less problematic source.

I don't know how much more credible that youtube channel is either. Looking at their library they seem to specialize in just presenting rumor, most of which are unfounded.
On the upside, it's also being reported by We Got This Covered.
I'll be darned.
Captain Marvel 2 will be directed by Nia DaCosta
from the upcoming Candyman movie.
I thought of her as a good choice for Blade, but hey, I'm not complaining.

Her prior film Little Woods is on Amazon and Hulu, and I would definitely recommend it as a timely tale of sisterhood and the need for better healthcare.
But then she won’t have any control over the marketing for captain marvel 2
Directors usually don’t
Forever liveblogging the Avengers

Mind you this would explain why Carol does not seem to have aged in 30 years.
That's one useless page topper
