Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

The good news is that since magic, gods, aliens, and the like are established within the MCU, the hypothetical Alpha Flight movie has much more time to spend explaining the super complex and inscrutable concept of bagged milk.
Well, technically, your blood is inside a soft, malleable container.
Would you like me to fix that?
"All you Fascists bound to lose."I was surprised to learn that bagged milk is considered a Canadian thing, considering the American elementary school right in my neighborhood served bagged milk since I was 6.
Bagged milk served at elementary schools? That sounds like a totally different thing from the 1.3 litre bags you buy in Canadian grocery stores. Wherever you're from is just weird.
What I'm getting from all of this is that the MCU needs a milk-themed superhero.
They should hire Milkman.

Misfits showed how dangerous lactokinesis could prove to be.

Whatever your favourite work is, there is a Vocal Minority that considers it the Worst. Whatever. Ever!.There's a casting call for a new Disney+ show and the description fits Echo to a T.
Yeah, could be for something else, but that description sounds exactly like Echo. The fact that the casting agency is highlighting Marvel productions also gives credit.
I'm gonna throw my hat and say that this is Echo and she'll very likely be part of Moon knight. They have history together and it says that shooting will be this fall, exactly when Moon Knight is expected to start production.

"Citizen! You look perturbed."
Yes. Yes I do.
Also, gotta love the parody of heroics in calling people "Citizen!"
RE casting news- Very cool.
I also do find it kind of funny that similarly with Shang Chi, the MCU proper seems to be doing its own Defenders/Heroes for Hire type thing.
Edit - Also interesting that Echo's interaction with Moon Knight involved Count Nefaria. He sounds like a good character to introduce, especially in Disney Plus. A mobster with Flying Brick powers would be something new in the post-Endgame world.

One of The Eternals. I'm not sure which one.

The legend has returned.I keep coming back to this scene.
So much is conveyed in just the first couple of seconds.
When all the dusting scenes are synced to start at the same time, The Falcon is the last hero dusted... But he's also the first one we hear on the return. And when he does, the score, which just took a couple of moments to set up Cap staring down Thanos' whole army alone stop MID NOTE, silencing the film and the audience, so that we could hear Sam's lines. As soon as Cap hears "Hey Cap, can you hear me?" in Sam's voice, the visual element comes in. Cap's entire breathing posture changes, going from the deep breaths of a ready fighter, to full on hyperventilating, as he recognizes what he heard but isn't sure if he can let himself believe it. Then the additional lines come in, and his expression changes again and again, and hope gathers on his face as the music swells and more heroes come in.
So we have:
- The challenge of one vs. an army: music of danger, a face of resolve.
- Sam's words come in: music isn't needed, the words and heavy breathing say enough. A face of shock.
- On your left: No music, but words of understanding, and the sound of a portal being opened in the background to set the tone. A face of realization.
- The first portal opens: The same music of danger begins again, but it's not Cap in danger. Cap turns around.
- T'Challa, Shuri, and Okoye emerge: No more music of danger, as the them "Portals", a theme of hope, begins in earnest. Cap wears a face of relief.
- Steve and T'Challa reach an understanding, as Sam soars past: The hope grows and spreads beyond just them as Falcon's flight path shows us even more portals. We briefly see Cap's face turning to full on pride, before we see more entrances, as it's no longer just about him.
This one clip, the one that Feige said the entire MCU so far was building towards... This part that fills audiences with so much hope that even to this day, some of us still feel chills of happiness as we rewatch it.
This was my favorite.

The pitcher is used for pouring milk, from the bag that it's sold in, into cups that you then drink from. I do not understand your question.
