Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

I mean. They gotta up the ante, right? Time travel should've meant time police eventually, right?
Actually, I got hit with some fridge brilliance not long ago. What if they use the TVA to establish Deadpool, who was last seen messing around with the timeline in his universe to save Vanessa and Peter?
Fun fact: a well-known (former) member of the Time Variance Authority is Professor Gamble
, who is totally not the Doctor.

So kids kinda straight up imply time travel don't they? Comic-Book Time is kind of a harsh mistress, it's either timeskips or kids from the future to avoid that pesky growing up thing.
My theory with Wandavision is that Wanda accidentally broke the universe with her powers, creating an alternate pocket dimension with another Vision. Within this universe, she can freely manipulate reality, space, and time, albeit in sort of a semi-conscious dream state where it only sort of makes sense to her.
Also is she in The Brady Bunch home? That stairwell is too distinctive to not at least be a Shout-Out.

If we're getting reality-warping wackiness, I hope we get to see Quicksilver.
If Wanda and Vision's Brady Bunch home isn't real, then there's no reason death should be an obstacle to the twins' Uncle Pietro coming to visit.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Tucker said he wanted Ultron as the guest star cranky uncle of the Wandavision sitcom world and I'm totally for that idea. I'm imagining this version is literally James Spader with a voice that occasionally gets a robotic filter.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."There was an Ultron in the comics who decided to not be such a dick and make up with Hank. He went by Mark, which was short for Ultron Mark 12
Forever liveblogging the AvengersFrom a freeze frame here
, it looks more like one is white and the other is blue.
There is a theory going around that instead of Wiccan and Speed, the twins will be Wiccan and Viv.
This song needs more love.
