Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

He seems to have an actual crush on her there, clearly being attracted to her & even willing to give her a diamond gift than for no other reason than just cause. And when Harley wanted to take revenge on the people who wronged her, he’s like “Hell yeah sure, whatever you want.”
Hell Joker actually had a second ejector seat that time. That says everything.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The Batman's Joker's relationship with Harley was interesting. Unlike other continuities, where Joker may have some feelings for her, but he's a demented abusive psychotic maniac so those simply come out as violent possessiveness and abusive behavior, The Batman's Joker legit doted on and was affectionate to Harley, but ultimately just saw her as entertainment and couldn't have given less of a shit about her.
Moving things back to Morbius...
The trailer's been rated PG and had a runtime of 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
We should be seeing this trailer pop up online when Bad Boys for Life gets closer to release.
That thread's kinda inactive, but whatever...
EDIT: Here you go.

I will said that for a intersting take of joker, I refer to the fan blog series the joker blogs, were is there the joker who show a interest of harley and she is a no nonsense doctor who thinks can crack joker "method" so to speak.
Is intersting because it imples that harley have actually issues and the joker is tapping those and fixing one problem I always have with harley and it is "what kind of charm the joker have she see in them?"
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"I always found Ledger's Joker overrated. Still good but not my favorite. He's my second favorite though. Cameron Monaghan, Jack Nicholson, and Joaquin Phoenix's were good but had some stuff holding them back. Hamill is my favorite Joker. I have never seen Richardson. I also liked Zach Galifianakis, Jeff Bennett and John DiMaggio in the role.

Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadI do like him. He's my second favorite. Just not my favorite. I just get tired of him being first, so I said overrated. I guess that is confusing and I could have phrased better.
Edit: I added him being second favorite to the original post.

Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadThe Joker Blogs attempted to make one (that series posed itself as an "and then what" story that took place soon after The Dark Knight).

I liked The Joker Blogs. They had my favorite take on their relationship. Still toxic, but in a different way.
Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadI am somewhat curious about Morbius but really am not a fan of Jared Leto. The only thing that would bring me around was if all of those stories of assholish behavior during ''Suicide Squad' were made up by the producers to drum up publicity.
I do hope though that Morbius, as well as Blade, are comparably Lighter and Softer (ditto Moon Knight, who might have some overlap with at least the latter). Not really a horror person, and I like the idea of having an MCU applying the same kind of tone (and as well-done) to a "monster mash" plotline as they have to space opera.
RE the Joker, I do like Ledger's Joker in terms of how the movie really emphasizes (and does well) the idea of the Joker as someone who has Chaotic Evil plans but carries them out in quite intelligent and meticulous ways.
I don't think anyone can really beat Hamil's version though for most effectively portraying the Joker as both funny and horrendously evil.
Honestly, though I'd really like to see an alt-Joker (or Joker expy) that's a Harmless Villain reminiscent of Cesar Romero that is horrified by the current Joker's behavior and becomes a good guy. If I could I'd write it myself. I like that kind of thing of "villain turned hero" (i.e. Megamind, Despicable Me and Nimona).
The closest to that is the British Joker (real name Jarvis Poker, yes really) who copies the whole shtick except that his jokes are of the entirely non-lethal variety. He literally does the whole costume thing and persona to play actual practical jokes on people. He gets on well with the Knight, who is basically British Batman.
The real Joker apparently doesn't like him very much.
"These 'no-nonsense' solutions of yours just don't hold water in a complex world of jet-powered apes and time travel."

You could say,he's a joke among Jokers, the card dealt from the bottom of the deck
