Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Yeah but I trust Marvel more, especially since Moon Knight is canonically a few cans short of a six pack.
Moon Knight has multiple personalities, he isn't crazy. He also isn't stupid. Him thinking that Dracula owes him money could go one of two ways:
- In the best interpretation, Dracula actually does owe him money, but then the question is why would Marc Spector (presumably hunter of vampires) lend Dracula money?
- In the worst interpretation, Marc Spector is just Deadpool-lite and just says funny memes for the shits and giggles and this is that. Which is stupid, because he isn't Deadpool-lite, he's Batman with serious psychological issues.
But, again, he isn't crazy. Hell, he doesn't even have traditional DID like we would normally think of it. His brain was literally colonized by Khonshu. As his psychologist stated, "You don't simply 'catch' DID simply by pretending to be other people for a while... You're not insane. Your brain has been colonized by an ancient consciousness from beyond space-time. Smile."

Maybe he ows him money from a job. Let's remember that Moon Knight originally started as a mercenary, and in his first appearance he was hired to hunt down Wereeoof by Night. Maybe in the MCU Dracula hired Marc to finish Russell once and for all, since they're natural enemies.
Imagine something similar like this happening.
Also, no one is gonna mention that the production name is the name of Marc's actual production company from that time he was a tv producer?

Me, I'm just wondering if "Dracula" is going to one of Marc's personality-hallucination-identity-things.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.The articles mentioning the production title brought this up.
Once upon a time, Marc Spector scored a huge load of money to upgrade his armor and used said money to found a company called Spectorcorp. And yes, at one point, Marc became a TV producer and produced a show called "The Legend of Khonshu".
Not sure how all that worked out, but hooray mythology gags!
Also, sometimes Khonshu himself is depicted as his fourth personality.
Also, apparently Werewolf by Night will also be appearing in the show.
This makes much more sense, since Moon Knight first appeared in an issue of Werewolf by Night.

Meanwhile Batman is also Batman with serious psychological issues.
Funnily enough, a recent Batman story really did delve into the age-old question of "what if Batman really was a nutcase?"
EDIT: Wait, not really. Disregard what I just typed.

Can I be honest with you guys?
- Deep Breath -
I preferred what they what they did with Hawkeye in Age of Ultron to Endgame. I found that stuff overhyped and cliche. I prefer the take that he's the one Avenger with everything figured out vs moody loner guy. I feel like I am alone on this.
