Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

No, the funny thing is that despite knowing he's in a time loop (if he did) Steve probably would do it all day.
And do you know why?
Another reason I said this about Tchalla is that if you think about it, their reaction are not different, Killmonger entire catalyst is how they kill is father, and what Tchalla does the moment they kill him? he used is suit to pursuit a nearly pointless vendetta, get into a fight he didnt need to be(and is father was in a way, trying to prevent) to satifies is need for revenge.
Not much diferent from Killmonger, all things consider, Tchalla very could end like him in fact.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"I've always found Black Panther interesting, especially in the MCU. While his physical attributes are nothing to sneeze at, they're only about a 3/10, but his Vibranium suit is so absurdly busted that it makes his durability stat alone shoot all the way up to a 9/10. It's just not often you see such a huge gap between a character's abilities in one area and a character's abilities in another.
Normally, characters are more well-rounded, so it's an interesting challenge to write battles for a guy only as strong as Captain America, but wearing a suit that makes his whole body as durable as Cap's shield.
Huh.
That's actually pretty obvious.
I guess that's another reason why T'challa was somewhat sympathetic to Eric's plight: he'd been Eric not too long ago.
One Strip! One Strip! Now I'm sad that they didn't have that "all day" bit in Infinity War.
- Steve: I can do this all day.
- Thanos: (blasts him with the Power Gem) I don't have all day.
What is intersting is that he pretend to be a HYDRA goon, fight himself(who is more moraly uptight), use the same trick Crossbone used agains him to knock is past self.....
Yeah, we can see how underhanded and pragmatic cap have become.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Huh.
Though to be fair, if he hadn't done that, they'd have been at it forever, and unlike Past Steve, our Steve did not have all day.
One Strip! One Strip!Ramin Djawadi and Dylan Tichenor are onboard for Eternals.
- Sam: So what happened to doing this all day?
- Old Steve: I did do this all day. Then I watched the sun come up and realized it was time to start a new day.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub. What happens in time travel stays in time travel.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub. There's a rumor that the Moon Knight series will tie in with the Blade movie.
Which I can kind of see? Marc Spector did start off fighting a werewolf.
So correct me if I'm wrong, but I couldn't find anything about whether Disney+ includes The Incredible Hulk or the two MCU Spider-Man films.
I know they have most of Phase One, so I guess Disney's got the full ownership of them from Paramount. But it seems the films I mentioned aren't up, probably due to licensing issues. Obviously there's Sony to deal with, but Universal also has partial ownership of the Hulk's film rights. Is this a similar situation to why they haven't made another solo Hulk film?
One of the writers of the She-Hulk streaming show is going to be Dana Schwartz
. She's the writer of The White Man's Guide to White Male Writers of the Western Canon
, which is based on her parody GuyInYourMFA
twitter.
So, Disney+ just got installed on my television.
Members of this forum, which should be my inaugural movie? Oh, and I've already seen Avengers: Infinity War and I'm not going to watch Avengers: Endgame yet.
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.

No doubt there would be an "I can do this all day" in there.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!
