Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

So....Tony is dead, so was is Cap and Nat, this means whatever villan they have is very probably it wont appear a this point(well, maybe in black widow future movie).
Which make me ask: in case marvel decide to use their rouge gallaery anyway and maybe transplant to other heroes, in what movie would you like to see it.

Sure.
Runaways airs its third season on December 13th. We'll see what happens, but I bet you good money it's cancelled by mid-2020.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.I figure we’re going to start seeing a bit more Rogues' Gallery Transplant in the future.
They finally have a place to put Hulk’s Rogues Gallery now that She-Hulk is coming out, but there’s the fact that they only used two of Iron Man’s regular rogues and one arc villain in his series (we’re already seeing them transplant his rogues onto other characters, with Ant-Man and Shang-Chi), Thor’s Earthborne enemies, major Cap villains they didn’t get to (like MODOK, and we’re already about to get Taskmaster against Widow), etc.
Meanwhile, several of the upcoming new blood heroes don’t have the most fleshed out rogues galleries, so it wouldn’t be surprising if they kept tacking other characters’ villains against them.

I believe he started as a villain for Johnny during an apparent solo run, then became an opponent for the four as a whole as a part of the Frightful Four, and has also fought Spiderman (helped frame him way back when, forcing Peter to create the identities that would become the Slingers).

One Strip! One Strip!Yeah. Though Pete not taking him seriously ever probably inspired that previously mentioned framing.
Old Pete never lived down that old name even after becoming the Trapster.
As I understand it, he's apparently legitimately competent, but not taken seriously by anyone in a manner similar to the Shocker.
...there should be a whole team of villains who're treated like losers, but actually good at what they do getting together to pull off crimes no one would expect from them because of their Memetic Loser status. A nice thrown bone for all those with the potential to be better even if the world won't accept it.
One Strip! One Strip!I don’t think Peter should throw stones
His whole life is a glass house
Forever liveblogging the AvengersAmusingly, though not great as a Spidey bad guy, Trapster power-set is pretty much perfect for fighting the Torch - who he was designed to fight.
Spidey’s taken a few of Torch’s enemies over the years. Beetle’s practically a Spider-Man villain these days as well.

Ooooh female-Beetle would be a perfect antag for She-Hulk & Matt if they ever decide to bring back Daredevil.
She’s the daughter of well known mob boss Tombstone & a supervillain lawyer. At one point in the comics she stated she wanted to be the Hillary Clinton of drug lords.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Iron Man is a man in a bulky metal suit.
Black Widow wears a catsuit. Spider Man wears a one-sie. Thor is an actual god with ropes of muscles . Loki is played by Tom Hiddleston... and that does things for people I guess.
Having crushes on those characters makes sense.
How do you have a crush on a man wearing a bulky suit of armor? I take it she knew it was Tony in there, yes? Even so. Did Stark act all that differently as Iron Man? No interest in the man underneath the suit, but in love with his heroics?

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!What, the Knight in Shining Armor thing (yes it's Powered Armor but still) isn't good enough a reason to develop a crush?
Disgusted, but not surprisedKnight in garish Powered Armor.
A 3-10 year old girl falling in love with the romantic image of a knight riding atop a mighty steed? Sure. Crush away.
A 20-40 year old woman having a crush on a suit of powered armor that fights robots and aliens? I'm perturbed.
I mean it's not even like the Iron Man suit is particularly form-fitting or skintight, or fanserv-ilicious. It's not like Tony has a plate on the back dedicated to supporting his ass. It's not like the suit is designed to make him look Herculean. I don't think there's much sexy about it.
So Pepper is crushing on a rather unattractive suit of metal.
It'd be one thing if Tony's face was visible and she knew he was in there. But, if not, I mean, I guess there's room out there for people who get turned on by powered armor.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!People do fall for personalities
And also Tony sculpts abs on some of his armor
Forever liveblogging the AvengersAlso, Powered Armor is sexy as fuck, nothing hotter than the might of modern machines being worn and wielded by a science warrior underneath.

Yeah, and we'll see what happens with that. I predict at most it gets one season just so the money already spent on producing it isn't wasted (especially if anybody has a Pay-or-Play Contract, obligating the studio to write them their paycheck regardless of whether the show gets made).
And then it gets cancelled too.
You can say "Isolated Incident Isolated Incident" on each and every cancellation all you want. But it's obvious which way the wind is blowing when a bunch of identical Isolated Incidents just so happen to occur in a short span of time. Marvel's cancelling their shows left and right, and announcing nothing new to replace them.
