Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Also, where is this stuff that the Infinity Stones can't resurrect people who died regularly? The only one I remember that it coudn't resurrect was Natasha and that was because she sacrificed herself for the Soul Stone — i.e. a "soul for a soul," so the Infinity Stones could bring back her soul.

@Ghost Rider: Well, that's a pisser, but at least the time we spent with him was nice.
Chung Chi Li has joined the production of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings as second unit director and stunt coordinator.
For the uninitiated, Chung Chi Li's references also include Rush Hour, Shanghai Noon, and Around the World in 80 Days.

My biggest problem with Avengers: Age of Ultron is that I felt like it was too jokey at times. The trailers weren't a complete lie. It was comparatively speaking darker than the first Avengers movie. It's just a lot of times I felt like the tension was undercut with a joke and the scene would have been stronger if they had just let it play out without the joke.
You can only write so much in your forum signature. It's not fair that I want to write a piece of writing yet it will cut me off in the midMy issue with Age of Ultron has always been that it doesn't really feel like an Avengers movie until the third act.
It's really an Iron Man movie passed off as an Avengers movie.
Like creepy stories? Check out my book!I think you are confusing "Iron Man movie" with "Has a lot of Tony Stark in it."

I think the reason many people were disappointed by AoU is also the Never Trust a Trailer thing. I mean look at this
It has a downright HORROR-like tone. The actual movie....wasn't like that at all.
