Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

I mean, I can't picture anyone not thinking that's awesome. Though I also admit I did a Double Take when I first read it, and then when I clicked the link and saw it was for real, I was like C'mon! Are you kidding me!?
But yeah, that's awesome. Ghost Rider deserves all the respect.
One Strip! One Strip!I've always wondered, how in the world does a girl who can phase through walls have a dragon for a pet?

Lockheed was always criminally underused imho. He's a very powerful fighter despite his small size — the Brood are shit-scared of him for good reason. In Whedon's Breakworld arc, Implacable Man Ord is scared of Lockheed because Lockheed nearly roasted him alive in their first meeting.

Disgusted, but not surprised

The problem here, of course, is that the Ghost Rider needs a vehicle to ride. Generally, after the mammoth, they moved onto horses (the Wild West version of Ghost Rider, Carter Slade, rode one), and then motorcycles and cars, which were much more efficient than animals were.
Other versions include:
And if you didn't read that last sentence and go "HOLY CRAP THAT'S AWESOME," then I'm afraid we must part ways.
