Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Kathryn Hahn is joining WandaVision.
Funnily enough, she's now the third cast member from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (she's Miles' universe's Doc Ock) to be involved with the MCU right after Brian Tyree Henry (Miles' dad, Jefferson, who will be Phastos the Eternal) and Mahershala Ali (Miles' uncle Aaron, who will be Blade).
It's probably coincidence...right?

So, was going to be the logic in the blood transfusion in She-Hulk? I havem't read the comics, but I believe it was desesperate move, but they were hoping there wasn't going to be any second effect from the transfusion, helped by the fact that Brucw was in his original human form. But now? We have Bruce in complete Hulk mode 24/7. I don't see them seeing transfusing Hulk blood to someone completely safe.
... But I suppose they could simply reverte Bruce to his human form for this to happen, which negates all the off-screen character development he had.

As mentioned before, though, Marvel Television is also looking to make some shows for Disney+, separately from Marvel Studios. Those will have Perlmutter's involvement.

"Cynic, n. — A blackguard whose faulty vision sees things as they are, not as they ought to be." - The Devil's DictionarySo, I wonder if in the new She Hulk series, her transformation will be anything like in the 90s cartoon.
But that's not the problem, thw problem is that in that form one cpuld (correctly) assume that his blood is more gamma radiated that in his human normal form, so it would be dangerous to Jen.
Or at least it would ask for to much Suspension of Disbelief for me.
We can probably keep the blood transfusion aspect just by mixing it with some other ingredient that keeps the gamma toxicity from killing Jen until the regenerative properties kick then.
Then just have Bruce teach Jen how he became Professor Hulk, so she can merge with her new Hulk aspect in a time period of days or weeks. Might have an opportunity to have one or two scenes where Jen goes 100% Hulk in the interim.
I mean, I don't think it's all that hard to keep her origin relatively intact. She's dying, Bruce is desperate to save her life, and the only thing that can do so in the circumstances is an emergency blood transfusion, even though he knows the risks. He'd rather his cousin be a potential Hulk than ya know...a corpse.
sigh of relief that he isn't playing Moon Knight
Ooo, I bet he's playing Dario Agger, one of the main villains from the Lady Thor comics. He's a weaselly corporate CEO who wants to, like, drill the Nine Realms for oil or some shit. And also he turns into a minotaur.

Ok, that's clever, you're clever. Hope they do something like that. But for budget reasons, I can totally see Banner reverting to human form.
Please, please tell me he doesn't use a a dagger as his main weapon.

Doesn't that just lead to annoying posturing where she ends up intimidating people in court, intentionally or otherwise?
I recall whether being in She-Hulk form counted as witness intimidation was part of why Jen left her old firm at the start of the Slott run.
But it doesn’t have to be all courtroom. The Soule run, which was the most legally accurate version, was more detective and negotiation, and only once went to real court.

So we're getting Sam Wilson as Captain America, Jane Foster as Thor and Kamala Khan as Ms. Marvel introduced.
What are the odds whatever the next Avengers movie is draws at least partial inspiration from All-New, All-Different Avengers?
New teaser trailer for Agents of SHIELD Season 7:
...dear god.
Apparently, those who went to the AOS panel with Jeph Loeb instead of the Disney panel got to see the first episode of Season 7. I wonder if they are going to wait until Summer 2020 to air it or will air it sooner? I mean, all the filming is already done.
