Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

There is flaws and there is being unlikable, Scott have not buissness having the suit because Hope is already better than him and yet because Hank cant bring the idea of Hope risking herself but is finding with Scott because he is dispensable? that is douchery right there.
And it the end it dosent matter because the plan fail because....Hank fault in the first place, shooting in the foot int he first place.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Its not like Hope really deserves the suit either.
The whole mess started because she helped Cross gain control of Pym Industries solely to spite Hank because of her own daddy issues.
Its her fault the whole thing started & then she acts practically entitled to the suit regardless of the final call going to the guy who actually created the thing.
That's the thing, both Hank & Hope are pieces of human fecal matter.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Scott has a pretty chill outlook to being considered expendable
He doesn’t really seem to mind because it’s a big risk big reward thing to get his daughter back in his life by pulling One Last Job
I don’t blame Hope for helping Cross take over the company because she didn’t know he was bugfuck at the time. And with as many people as Hank has alienated its easy to justify that he wasn’t fit to run the company.
Her calling the cops on Scott was a dick move though
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThe amount of wrangling it takes to get Scott to undertake the mission in the first half of the film is to its detriment, which is weird because a much better reason for why Hope can't do the mission shows up in the second half: Cross expects her to be at the meeting with him.
Wasn't expecting Peele to sign on Blade. He sounds like he's having more fun directing his own projects and creating new settings.

... looking over the page for Adam Warlock for entirely different reasons, I saw that Gamora and Adam are pretty much the closest either ever had to a regular love interest.
I wonder if Neo Gamora is going to end up with Adam, that being the case. Come to think of it, provided they don't just make Adam into a villain, I wonder if he's going to get his own movies as well.
This has me inordinately excited.
Zemo's getting his classic mask thing.
I was refering to a previous post of mine saying I had heard Jordan Peele's name as the potential director for Blade so many times I could've made a Drinking Game out of it.
So AV Club wrote an article on a twitter thread about which fictional characters would have voted for Trump.
And Tony Stark was listed as one of them.
The comments in the article below dispute this of course pointing out Tony is a lot smarter than that and that even at his worse he's nothing like Trump.
