Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

By the way, jessica's first season, done! Worth the time! I'm already three episodes into Luke's second season.
1. ...WHOSE IDEA WAS IT TO PUT "LUKE CAGE" ON HEROIN!? Who? Why? Why?! What, you're trying to say that Luke Cage endorses your specific heroin?
2. Good riddance, magic bullets. As much as the idea of using technology from "the incident" was intriguing to me, you were as lazy as can get. I mean, there's no reason why Chitauri technology can go through him, no real explanation given. It does because it does. What are you, bullets or seeds from a magic tree?
Still, Cage should really get back into "the barn" by the day. Enough times and who knows?
3. So, I've discovered- again - I am not comfortable with the level of violence here.
Oh god, the eye-slicing...
Edit: 4. Wait, Rand's better in Luke Cage season two? Really? Because I know he's coming eventually and I'm not totally sure if I should be afraid.

A look at the cast.
Another photo of all the cast.
There was a rumor that Eternals would have the first gay superhero. Not sure which one it might be however.
By the way, they stated that there will be ten movies in Phase 4 over two years. But two of those might, in fact, be shows in Disney+

Tony Leung will play the Mandarin in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
Feb 2021 - SHANG CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RING
Tony Leung is playing THE MANDARIN. The Real Mandarin.

...get some pain killer for Iron Fist season 1. Nothing makes people angrier than that series.
What am I, a masochist? If I want to suffer for my sins, I'll get a hair shirt. It'll be less aggravating if certain opinions are correct.
Although Iron Fist season 2 is supposedly better so...I'll put that on the bottom.
