Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

@Hallow Hawk - Well, I would've liked keep my nationality hidden outside the OTC. I kinda don't appreciate that? Oh well, too late for that I suppose.
Yes, MCU is MASSIVE in Korea. Like, goddamn. If only we had more population, we would've been the biggest MCU audience outside of North America.
I am not kidding, I just saw a bunch of guys getting into a fist-fight because the other guy spoiled Endgame.
Hell, get this: restaurants around big theaters actually have signs put up, asking patrons to not to talk about Endgame spoilers inside the building.
Lastly, the ticket resaling, especially for the first night, got so bad that distributors have declared legal war against the resalers. Most expensive ticket I've seen so far: equivalent of $500.

Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing.![]()
Frankly, that is a nicer experience than I had before watching the movie...which was some guy walking down the street, screaming islamophobic BS at everyone who looked like a fitting target. Frankly, I wouldn't have blamed anyone who would have decked him in reaction, but thankfully everyone ensured that the situation didn't escalate.
But I really hated that this happened in the first place. Really spoiled the mood of the day.
I was right, btw, no problem to get the seat I wanted. The next two showings were pretty full, though.
Two hours away? wow...some parts of England are really left behind, aren't they?

Yikes. That sounds awful. Sorry to hear you had to deal with that shit.
Turns out I will be seeing it this Saturday. My mom checked to see if there were still tickets online, and there were. One of my brothers is back in town for the weekend, so we’d been hoping it’d work to see it. I just hadn’t checked because I assumed it would all be sold out.

Here's an interesting detail I found: in Infinity War, Thanos claims his actions helped save Gamora's race, but in Got G it's implied she's the last of her kind.

Probably a Series Continuity Error, but I thought it was worth bringing up.
Anyone expecting callbacks or ironic echoes to lines from previous movies to show up in Endgame? Lately, I thought about how they could revisit Fury's "you have made me very desperate" speech or literally anything Thanos has said in the past.

So, only that much...not really a spoiler but if you are worried about your bladder: There is no end credit scene. You can safely leave once the credits start to roll.
And that's all I will say about the movie.
