Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Nolan had Bruce kill at least one person per movie and commit multiple acts of torture. The entire point of his movies was showing how toxic Batman was.
Snyder had Clark kill one person (which he wasn't about) and had him saving people even before he put on the Superman costume. He also had the guy avoiding fights before Zod's invasion and offering help to a woman who was being sexually harassed.
He retired after the Harvey Dent incident.
He did end up killing Harvey by accident. Though considering how Rises put things, after everything with Two-Face and the Joker, there were no big threats to Gotham until Bane gently sauntered into Gotham.
One Strip! One Strip!Well, the thing with Nolan is that his style really works best for Batman specifically. It does not necessarily work for other heroes.
Leviticus 19:34![]()
alliterator brought up Animal Man, Ultimatum brought up how surprising DC hasn't made a movie about Animal Man, then Handsome Rob say it can't do worse than the Justice League movie and how bad it handled the two headliners, and it spiralled out from there.
Eh. I'll fix this.
So...do we have any final predictions on who will live through this?
I'm gonna predict a dark horse here and say...Thunderbolt Ross dies.
Nobody would see it coming.
...wait, was Ross caught in the Snap or not?
One Strip! One Strip!Yeah, that's why I'm wondering about it.
It'd be perfect if he was one of the survivors.
One Strip! One Strip!See, I once thought up an idea of how to make The Dark Knight better: what if Rachel became Two-Face?
