Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Zabo was the best. I liked how his arc ended, but I wish there was some way for him to show up again.
I'm torn between not wanting them to cop out on MODOK and actually really liking what they did with Arnim Zola, enough that if they'd done a direct nod to his appearance in The Winter Soldier I'd've probably been on board for that.

That... would actually be a very funny Alternate Universe gag. Or just a regular gag - I mean, B.R.O.D.O.K. was a thing that happened, and is canon

I remember before Winter Soldier came out, my go-to theory was that Zola would go on to found A.I.M, and he would become a Composite Character with M.O.D.O.K.
When I hear about Marvel scrapping all the Netflix shows and such (probably making them definitely non-canon and acting like they were never made) and only making shows related to the movies, it makes me think they think nothing important ever happens to anyone but the Avengers in the MCU. Boo. (Not that I don't like the Avengers).

Join the Five-Man Band cleanup project!None of you seem to get my main point. I never said anything about crossovers.

Join the Five-Man Band cleanup project!I guess they were trying to say that it's a shame that characters outside of the Avengers or even the movies in general aren't getting the love that they should. I can definitely agree it sucks that Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Daredevil are getting the axe right as they'd all just finished pretty damn good seasons. Also I'm only kinda excited for the Bucky and Sam miniseries out of everything that's been confirmed. I think Loki's had plenty of time in the spotlight already and I'm so-so on Wanda and Vision, even if the former had cool moments in IW.
