Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

have a listen and have a link to my discord serverCottonmouth?
But yeah, if that is an allusion to The Last Supper (which seems plausible given that comics scene mentioned with Daredevil), I think it's actually an unusually subtle example.
Also, since the Judas Bullets were mentioned, I do find it hilarious and telling how in the Netflix shows, that's all that was salvaged of Cithauri tech and each one is ruinously expnsive. And then in Homecoming, you have Toomes' associate selling wave motion guns like candy from the back of a truck.
Well, I've watched the second season of Luke Cage...and while it never really reached the highs the first episodes of the season one had, overall I actually liked it better. In fact, of all of the "second seasons" so far, I think that one is the best, partly because it takes advantage of the Netflix verse, making it feel more like something which is part of a bigger while than just some isolated story, while also still being able to stand on its own.
On other news, Cloak and Dagger is still all kind of awesome. Can't recommend the show enough.
Here they are
. Minor spoilers. Consensus seems to be not as weighty as Black Panther or serious as Infinity War, but still incredibly fun and hilarious. Also sounds like Ghost may be an Anti-Villain.

Bucky is BEST Disney Princess.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.I am not surprised at all that the second Ant-man is better. I was sure that if Reed had time to do it right than to work off whatever Wright left him, he could do a superior movie. After all, based on what I think is the wright stuff and what I suspect is the Reed stuff, I think he gets the franchise better. Especially in terms of the importance of Wasp.
Hearing that Hope is cool and stuff is about 70% of the battle won for me. Some good ol' Luis doesn't hurt either. My expectations are that it won't be as good as Civil War, Got G 2, Homecoming, Ragnarok, Black Panther or Infinity War but still plenty enjoyable and a solid improvement over the first movie. And hey, being merely inferior to any of the aforementioned movies is hardly an insult in my opinion.
On my wave, passing oooooooonI would argue that dying because a grape snapped his fingers counts as at least one of those.

This song needs more love.I mean, Sleeping Beauty was temporarily killed by a spinning wheel and Snow White by an unwise choice of fruit. A fingersnap fits right in.

In the comic, Matt actually mocks Tony by giving him a coin and saying that Stark aka Judas can add it to the pieces of silver he sold out his friends for.
I don't know what was dumber - that the comic actually compared Stark to Judas or that Matt just had a coin under his tongue in the hopes he'd run into Stark to give it to him and explain the significance of the coin.
